Hi bobs are just fantastic id go for that yes . Here in scotland i see lots of great bobs about in town just now its such a great classic and versitile cut. I like the blunt cut at the back bobs best saw a lady today with one it looked superb on her and beutifully cut too. Long hair well trimmed can look nice yes but can be a bit flat and boring too it sounds to me like you fancy a change which is no bad thing sometimes . Yes go for it i think you,ll love it if you dont it will grow out anyway. Best of luck.

I had a pony tail down my back last week - 8 years worth - and just got it cut off. Of course, as a man it's different!
Anyway, I would suggest you get someone to photograph you from all angles, front and back, to see for yourself how you look with long hair.
Next, pin it up, or back and photograph again, to give the illusion of short hair. You may even be able to Photoshop the pics. See which looks better.
It's easier to manage short, doesn't get caught when you are lying down, doesn't need so much washing, drying or shampoo and is generally more boring. Long hair is much more versatile, especially for a woman!
Personally, I love long hair and only got it cut for a chance at a new job :o(

I had long hair down to my bum. two years ago I cut it in a bob and every day since I regret it. Some girls do suit a bob depends on the face line/ jaw line. You need to be 100 percent certain because it takes years to grow back. my hair only reached middle of my shoulders now with 2 trims to get rid of split ends.

Well, I did this and it was an enormous shock...to me and everyone I knew, and I think I heard my husband sob. Go for it if it makes your life easier or if you want to have a very dramatic change. If you are really not too sure, why not have some layers cut through, go mid length or add a few subtle low lights. That way, if you hate it you can go back in a relatively short time.....or you may love it and may have the confidence to go the whole hog next time!

All the people here if am not wrong, never saw you in person. So I would suggest that you better ask some advise from your friends who are seeing you personally (daily) since hairstyle may also depend on the look of that person (you). Friends and people around you have much impact to judge on what kind of hairstyle is best for you as they sees you in person. Though suggestions could differ from person to another person, just like here that not all are agreeing to have you in short hair.
*If you are not satisfied or will be confused instead on which to follow, I would recommend to look at yourself thoroughly over the mirror and try to set your hair by yourself and see which one you like best.
(I, myself would personally judge what kind of hair do I want rather than depending on others advise.) As a matter of fact, it is you who will be having that kind of hairstyle and not the other people).

Personally I think long hair on a woman is lovely and many women have their hair cut because they are starting to feel they are too old for long hair. However long hair is sexcy and very flexible - you can wear it long and free, in a pony tail, in a bun etc. etc. - with a short bon you will have non of this flexibility.

I think short style is in at the minute. I thing something like Rhianna hair style would look nice but at the end of the day its up to you. I don't really know what you look like and if it would suit you.

i think you should keep your hair long, that way its easy to style and looks better
when you have it short, you can't tie it up or style it very much, and tbh, makes you look alot older than you really are.

try it.. it grows back... plus!! it takes a week for your hair to get back to normal after a fresh cut. use a straight iron or what needed to get your hair looking good.
