I'm so glad there's someone else out there who isn't trapped by this bureaucratic mirage. I'm sure that "global warming" will come up again once they can get a new angle or scare tactic going. I can't count the scientists I've heard speak on the subject against it saying that Earth is just going through another cyclic event like it has done in the past for thousands of years and global warming is attributed to this cyclic tilt of the earth closer to the sun.
Best way I had it explained to me about the polar ice caps melting causing ocean levels to rise -- if you take a glass and fill it with ice and water and let the ice melt in the glass. Once the ice melts, the volume of water in your glass stays the same. Imagine that. ---

What makes you think its a hoax ?
I dont pay all that much attention to the news anymore and yet even Ive noticed a change in the overall seasonal temperatures where I live over the last few years.

Maybe you should try getting your information about global warming (which is a scientific issue, not a political one) from scientists instead of the media. Then you would realize that there's no hoax involved.

Socialists such as Gorbachev moved into the green political parties. These so called environmentalists really are just socialists in green clothing. They fret and exaggerate environmental catastrophes. The cause of these catastrophes are invariably industry and free markets and the cure is always to give up freedoms and money. These people belong to a group and are not interested in the truth or science. They are interested in belonging and pretending that they care more than others and that the rest of us are stupid for not accepting their faith in Global Warming.

This week the focus will be saving the endangered species.
When global warming doesn't end life as we know it, the environmentalists, conservationists, etc will pat themselves on the back.
Why have we had no sky-jackings since 9-11-01? Because homeland security sniffs our shoes and restricts nail clippers in carry-on luggage. No other explanation is possible.

It is because global temperatures have leveled off, if not cooled and the oceans have been cooling since 2003, but the experts tell us that it will start up again in 2009.

Byakuya the article you sited goes back to the Heinz Foundation (John Kerry's wife). The carbon trader cartel people (Al Gore, John Kerry and his ilk) are laying low for awhile to let things cool off a bit before they start their push again before the elections.

No, the polar bears and seals are still drowning and the last 5 summers were the hottest on record. So the 'hoax' is still happening.
Honestly, what on earth is wrong with trying to prevent pollution? I don't understand all you nay-sayers.
