Right now I like Leory, Maurice, or Milo.
Or maybe just an average person name like Mike, or Jim, or something.

Please don't name a male cat SUE! What does the dat do for you? It should really be a cat name, how many cats want to be named Mike or Jim? Climber, Sky, if poor, the name of a car you can't buy, Lexus or Lincoln. Ralph was always on of my favorites. Is he smart? Rocks! Cuz he is smart as a box of rocks!

My next cat (when I ever get one) will be Figgy or Mr. Figgins (named after a baseball player on the Angels. if you are looking for a name that might be attached to a real name look at some of the nicknames they give ballplayers. (for Ex) Vladdy, G.A, Payton, Big Papi some are good for pets.

Try to pick a name that fits your cats personality.
My cats are.....Crybaby, he meows all the time. Bigun, he is the biggest cat I have evere had, Hoochie Mama, not sure why LOL, Baby Girl, she is very tiny, and Pumpkin Pie, because she looks like pumpkin pie mix all swirled with the cinnamon and stuff.

My current cats name is Norris. I call him Norry a lot though. or Nore.
My favorite cat I ever had was named Winston aka Winnie.

Fu-ba , FOO-BAH, That's short for fur ball. A unique name for a one and only kitty. I named My kitties Tigger, from POOH fame, and Taj, Taj Mahal, no Taj my kitty. Have fun with the name, and fun with your kitty. When talk comes to pets, you just might have a tail or two you you can tell. Not to mention the fun you can have at the Vet.

I have a dog named Bill. Easy name there. Otherwise maybe Sal, Jesus, Tom (for Tomcat) Tony, Felipe.

You have to look at the cat's appearance and personality traits to come up with the right name. No one will be able to give you the right name without knowing your cat.
I have read that you shouldn't give a cat a name that rhymes with or sounds like the word "No" -- and/or names that sound like whatever phrase you plan to use to tell him to cease and desist -- names that might sound like "Hey" or "Yo" or "Stop" or "Dammit" probably aren't good.
