What does it mean when men stroke women's faces or neck? When they gently caress these features, regardless of sex or kissing. Generally, what does this mean in the male psyche?

Many years ago I was involved with a woman. We were lovers for a while and then moved on a little where we were no longer having sex. We became better friends without sex, but we both still loved each other. I think it is safe to say that men need sex if they are in love. But they don't need sex to love. You and your boy/f are tender friends and have grown in the dynamic of how you feel about each other. Your age difference is more a compliment than a problem. It is fairly well documented (with exceptions, I being one of them) that men reach their sexual peak at 18 and women much later. I have found love easier than sex because it resonates so well with women. When you know that all women want are to be hugged and be listened to, you can see what I mean. Don't get me wrong. Sex is the great leveler in relationships and that spark can raise the bar and make life so luminous that it pales the moon. Aside from that, it feels wonderful.

To me it is a sign of love and care. That he doesn't need to attack her with his lips or body. (Ha ha, not saying 'attack' in a bad way.) I, personally, love it when my boyfriend does that. It just makes me happy and makes me realize how much he loves me that he shows that little gesture. Hope that answers your question.
