I want some good ground rules, that won't upset anyone, but are fair, and will make sure of no religious hate junk in my group, and postings appropriate for any age.

Well, it's tough to say without knowing you or what your group is really trying to do. I think you should visit some other group sites. Check out their policies/rules. It will give you some ideas for putting together your own.

It's fairly impossible to tell you what your ground rules should be without knowing what kind of group you're talking about. But after thinking for a moment, I believe you can use the abbreviated version of Roberts Rules Of Order. That works well for any group. It's all set up so if need be it can be altered to fit exactly what you want, and it's simple.
Peace

Good ground rules can be defined by your group with your guidance as a leader of the group. That way the group can iron out any discord as the rules are defined. There is one thing to remember. 'Rules are made to be broken, but not without good cause.' Keep that in mind so if mistakes are made it can be a self correcting group without allowing for discord. When people make their own rules it is very difficult for them to blame others for what they have done. It can save you a lot of grief in the long run.

That everyones oppinion is respected.
Find matterial to study that is a good topic for all ages.
After people start coming you can get a idea of what age group it is to find a better topic, and sub topics to teach.
Most study groups I have been to, have this stupid rule where the teacher is always right. People have something always good to say regardless if it is right or wrong.
Also, Try to stay on the subject of what you are covering.
Dont let people get carried away with thing like: Well my mom thinks, or I read.

There is just honest Questions with good intentions, or Left questions that you just leave behind. Attitude and nature of the question and proper intention are all good.
Be as creative as you can be, try to use everything and anything you can from truth and proof. You know cause the Left is way too busy making trouble they have no intelligence to even bother reading the question and or even checking the proper answers. They have been not guided so they cannot answer your questions properly... You can find them they are very easy if you have been trained to see them.

Improve on the commandment's.
I.E. Cleanliness is next to Godliness.
Say' use good hygiene.
Look at the Bahia religion, for example, Oneness to oneself. Hy gene.Look after on self.
Oneness to mankind and the universe.
cut's out thou shall not kill. adultery, etc.
It seem a more discreet set of rule's 10.
I think the Bahia covers's all the rule's. more decreet.
I've studdied a few religion's. Buddizm is good.
So I would think take the basic word's from Ba'hi. As they use descretion and make good sense to live by they're rule's.
I kind of think there should only be one religeon.

1. Respect the cheese
2. There are no rules in fight club.

Just kidding.

Really though, the rules should be something that you want. As always, ask group members to be respectful to others.

Your group should be taught to be assertive and to communicate like a Forgive Affirmed Spirit does. There should not be any foul language or name calling. There should be expressions of feelings and text, taken from texts and thoughts about life in general and discussed into active listenning, sympathy, empathy and affirmation of each other to the maximum extent possible.

Oh and if someone is just being funny in a serious discussion, remind them to use lol, so as not to be taken too seriously!

Healing be unto you and yours and me and mine

Don't worry about what makes people mad about your group rules. If they don't like the rules they can join a different group and leave yours alone.

Well, you're playing with fire here, so you ARE going to recieve abuse at some stage. Keep topics based on meaning rather than proving or disproving. As for your age, I have no idea how old your are, but if you're screwing around with religion then you gotta be prepared for the full monty.
