When atheists come to Christ, they find some of the answers in which they seek. It takes no energy to be a sinner, but an atheist has to expend energy not to believe in God.

So initially, they do not believe He exists. When they find Him, it is so refreshing and a release . Unfortunately, many Christians get hurt and become disillusioned. Nevertheless, it is IMPOSSIBE to become an atheist because a non-practicing Christian would have already known that God is real. Once the brains knows something is true, it is impossible to try and trick it to think on the contrary.

An atheist cannot convert as they didn't have a religion to start with. There are plenty of Christians who leave the church and many may end up as atheists - it is an opinion not a group you can join.

Dream on.

I love it when you People make these wild unsubstantiated accusations. I have always been an Atheist, all my friends and family are, and I have never in my life met an Atheist who became a Christian.

I guess your delusions spill over into everything.

Are you having a laugh? Is he having a laugh!?

All the Atheists I know were born into Christian and catholic family's and went to Christian schools including myself.
I think Christianity would disappear very quickly if more people would stop being so arrogant in their beliefs and actually look at the evidence that overwhelmingly states that the bible is a pack of misinterpreted, mistranslated plagiarised lies.

on this site maybe, but in the last 100 years or so, less and less people go to church and due to a better education, most now understand the scientific facts. so yeah, your misinformed - more christians go to atheism than the other way round.

That's your understanding based on your impression and possibly imagination. But then that's what religious people are good at, isn't it? Imagining things, jumping to conclusions based on delusion. I hope your God will help you become a more intelligent human being.

Q: Why do many Atheists convert to Christianity, but very few go the other way?

A: Few atheists convert to Buddhism or Shinto because it requires considerably more effort.

The good news is that the growth of Christianity is very close to the growth rate of the world's population. The percentage of Christians in the world has remained almost the same for decades, so those who think it is dying out are completely wrong.
If anyone was truly a Christian, s/he cannot become an atheist because they will belong to christ forever. Even if they turn their backs on God and leave the church, they will still be a son or daughter of God.
