I thought it was an excellent picture of the gospel message.
When the Lion was being led to the sacrifice, I was immediately reminded of Jesus Christ willingly going to the cross on my behalf.

C.S. Lewis wrote some very religious undertones into the movie. Aslan's sacrifice of himself for the sake of the traitor, and then his resurrection and deliverance of Narnia from the forces of evil. That's an analogy to Christ's dying on the cross for sinners, resurrection and salvation of the world from evil.

I thought it was a good movie. C S Lewis is supposedly a Christian author. I did see some of the correlations in the movie. But I think that it was mainly more of a movie for entertainment than anything else.

I really enjoyed the movie. I know that there was supposed to be a lot of Christian innuendo in the movie (and there was), but all in all, I Just enjoyed watching it because it had a great message. Not to mention the special effects and the story line. It was just an overall great flick for me and my family.

I thought it was pretty good. I remember the books being better when I was younger.

I'm with you Suzanne. Even if you didn't know up front about C.S. Lewis, I'm surprised how many people didn't realize the obvious correlation between the story and the Gospel.

Pretty good. I saw it, then get all the seven books, and also ordered the DVD. Planning to see the next one: Prince Caspian and hope they get to film all seven stories from the books.

I heard of them before, but was not interested because english is not my first language.

Its an interesting fun film and I really enjoy CS Lewis as an auther but somehow fictionalizing the gospel seems troubling to me...I'm a little cautious about it. I dunno...love in Christ, ~J~

Never saw it. I don't believe that CS Lewis was truly a saved believer.

It's a waste of my time, along with Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings.

It's a wonderful allegory of Christianity, the Gospel, and salvation itself.

EDIT: Wow, Jen, you really didn't know this?!
