If you believe that, you have been brainwashed by the mainstream liberal media. Has Iraq attacked Israel since Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm? No. Have gas prices gotten any better since we went to war with Iraq? No. Does the U.S have more oil from Iraq now? No.

The war in Iraq is about removing a tyrant who was supporting terrorism and amassing weapons of mass destruction (don't believe CNN or CBS -- I've been to Iraq and seen the WMDs and a couple of hundred captured/killed al-Qaeda terrorists with my own eyes), and it's also about trying to stabilize the region and encourage a democratic form of government. Not sure if democracy will fly in Iraq, but we'd be foolish to simply pull out and leave them to their own devices when they are making progress.
