If you wish to start eating it again, do it slowly and wisely.

First of all, do not eat it at a restaurant. Fast food will really make your day go bad quickly if you eat meat there first.

Go to the butcher (whether at a meat shop or grocery store) and ask the butcher for meat that has been ground twice. Buy only about a quarter of a pound to start.

If you want to use it for a meal, may I suggest grinding some bread in your food processor to may bread crumbs and mixing that 50/50 with the ground meat. You can then form that into meatballs or meatloaf. Don't eat more than half of this at first.

If you want the meat to stand alone, do not eat more than half of it for the first meal.

Have a good salad on the side as the fiber will do you good.

Before going to bed that night, I'd suggest taking a Citrucel capsule with a large glass of water to insure a better tomorrow.

With all of that said, doesn't it make you wonder why we insist on eating red meat?

Good luck!

You won't get sick but you will probably taste it and think it taste funny. I stopped eating red meat and when I did have some hamburger in a hot dish I thought the hot dish was bad. It occurred to me though that it was the unusual taste of red meat.

I don't eat pork but on rare occasions if I have to I will (Such as eating over at my mother in laws). When I eat it however, I get really sick with diarrhea and naseau. So yes, you may get sick because your body isn't used to the bacteria and what not in the meat because it hasn't broken it down in a while.

I'll try my best to tell you to know about the bad results of eating meat of any deaf and dumb animal, thru the following sholka in Shrimad Bhagvat Gita:-
"KARMAN SUKRATASYA AHU SATIVKAM NIRMALAM FALAM.RAJAS TU FALAM DUKHAM AGYANAM TAMAS FALAM".sholka#16( 3 gunas of nature).means-the fruit(result)of a good work is always pure and sacred and called saatvik. But,the worries(dukh) is the fruit of all works done in Rajoguna. And the all works done in Tamoguna are nurtured by totally foolishness.
Explanation:-slaughtering of animals is due to Tamoguna too.And the slaughters doesn't know well, that the dead animal would get the devine body again in future,so that he would kill them. And it's the rule of Nature.Always eat fresh and pure vegitarian food. Also, let live others too,as you wanted for yourself.

No. I hadn't eaten if for a couple of years when I started craving a good old country beef pot roast with potatoes, carrots and onions. It didn't make me sick after I ate it.

Nothing will happen to you. Just make sure you handle the meat properly and cook it properly. Undercooking it might make you ill. Go ahead, enjoy a good steak :-)

Ohh, you'll probably just break out in "iddybumps" all over, your toenails will drop off and your ears will get all red and itchy. Other than that, nothing much.
