I'm traveling to Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan Alaska. Anyone know of good restaurants in these Cities?

If you are cruising to those places then why would you want to go eat in a restaurant when ALL of the food on ship is free? Many people who cruise to those cities may get off ship and have a beer or drink, but they don't try to go eat gourmet meals and pay top dollar for it when food on ship is free.

I just got back too, but did not go to icy strait or Prince Rupert. Instead we went to Tracy Arms fjord. That was very very beautiful as I spent the whole time outside taking pictures. We saw icebergs the size of a whale(one was even shaped like a whale), hundreds of waterfalls, deep canyons, a glacier or 2 or 3, and forests everywhere. Even a 3 year old would love Tracy arms fjord. As far as the towns, I guess Ketchikan would be my least favorite because it is the smallest. But I still certainly enjoyed it never the less. In fact, we are going back next year too, but will be going to glacier bay. Now if you really want to see something awesome, then glacier bay is it. I did that cruise 10 years ago and can't wait to see it again.

In Skagway go to the Red Onion Saloon. It is an old brothel and loads of fun. They have great food - the Chili is absolutely wonderful.
In Juneau we ate lunch at the Red Dog Saloon. This was also a great place to have some fun and good food.
Alaska is wonderful - enjoy!

In Ketchican along the dock on creek street there is great seafood. I forget the name of the restaurant but the 1st or 2nd place along the dock has the best shrimp I have ever tasted. They give out free samples sometimes and you will see people outside the restaurant eating a huge plate of shrimp or other seafood.
