Depends how much you want to spend, and how many people you have to feed toast to. Do you need a 2 slice or a 4 slice toaster? .. they make really nice toasters now, some that look really retro, and cool, and some that look just like any average toaster...you can spend $100 bucks on one if you want to, or you can spend $10 bucks.. but... you get what you pay for..I recommend you go to a store like Kohl's, or Target, and ask an associate for help with your purchase..
Good luck!

I'm posting a link to the one I got recently. It's inexpensive, nice looking, stays cool on the outside, and will toast, besides regular bread, English muffins, frozen waffles, toaster pastries, bagels, homemade breads, toaster hash browns & more. I am very happy with it! Check the other reviews...

Go for the features you like because toasters are such a basic form of technology, you don't really have to worry about one not being up to par with others. Look for one that won't burn your hands if you touch the side. the size of the slots, and quantity of slots if that matters to you. Have fun. :)

Sunbeam puts out a good one. Although I bought a cheap one form Walmart and it seems to be doing fine. I think it cost around $15.

buy one that is big enough to toast bagels and at least a 4 slicer.. Stainless steel is a goo bet,it's a bit more expensive, the the cost is worth it in the long run

I would look for one of those that can toast a bagel. They also do bread very well. You can buy them for two or four slices.
Several good brands. Most are not terribly expensive.

there's a sandwich maker available in the market imarflex is the best brand. you put your choice of spread between slices of bread then tuck them in, you'll have the best toast in less than a minute
