Well it's pretty hard to control the time the bus gets there. But you can just ensure that you have your books, etc. ready to go straight to first period w/out stopping by your locker. If it becomes to much of a problem, have your parents contact the school and/or bus company to find out the reasoning why the bus doesn't get there sooner.

Is this a school bus? If so, can you start a campaign at your school to get the schedule of this bus changed a little so that it arrives a few minutes earlier?

If you are using a public transportation bus, can you take an earlier bus? I know that no one wants to be too early, but better early than late!

The above answer is a good idea but you could always try catching an earlier bus to make sure that you are there on time (if you live on a regular bus route that is!). I live out in the country but there is a bus every half hour that passes our schools.

Once you get off the bus go directly to class, and try not to get caught up with talking to friends. There isn't much you can do if the bus causes you to be late for class, unless you can find a nearby route that arrives earlier. Express your concern to your teachers or to your bus driver, they might be willing to help a little. Poor bus drivers never get meaningful conversation these days, that's prolly why they're all so solemn.

Go talk to the principal and tell them to call the bus company.

If this is a school bus, please talk to someone at your local school board office. This should not happen.

If you use public transportation, the answer's obvious. Get up earlier, and catch an earlier bus.
