I don't mean simply feeling better after a prayer or anything like that, although that too could be attributed to God..(impossible to tell?)
I mean any real, direct result from a prayer. say you wished for a bike (bad example) and hey presto, the next morning, by sheer luck, you find an old rusted one in your front yard. anything like that. just curious. thanks all

Everyday

I am blessed more than I could ever imagine.
Don't get me wrong, I have the same problems that you and everyone else in the world has, But praying guide me thru them and helps me make the right decisions and helps me cope when things don't go my way.

I can tell you that God puts me where I need to be when I need to be there.

Most definately...

There are so many subtle ways in which He does this I can't list them here but just recently my husband had applied and interviewed for a job. We thought he got it and were overjoyed and etc..only to be emailed to say that they had chosen someone else. I prayed like mad cuz of reasons I won't go into...then the next day..opened our email where the gal had appologized and said that she had email the wrong "Mike" and that he did have the job afterall. Other stuff too...like how our hot water heater went south on us just when we were broke...too broke and wondering who to borrow 300 plus bucks from...only to recieve an instant credit card offer in the mail from Home Depot the next day...0 interest for 6 months...this is after praying that my husband would cell a computer (he's a geek/nerd/tech) so we could get a new HWH. It happens more and more too because the more you acknowledge that all good things come from God the better off you are in having faith that you can trust He is there for you. There is no such thing as sheer luck. In my heart and mind I don't believe in it. I think He plans everything down to the meticulous detail. Love in Christ, ~J~

Yes, God has answered my prayers directly.
Nothing so trivial as a bike, though.
When my grand daughter was diagnosed with a life-threatening heart defect, I prayed that God would send us help. This family certainly could not afford the services of a really good surgeon for her, but, by a miracle, we got the best. And, guess what? The man is a Christian!
Our Katie, who, we were told, wouldn't live to see her first birthday, is now eight years old, and a cheer leader!
Because God sent us a great man...who took care of our baby FREE OF CHARGE...and even found time to come to the Ronald McDonald house to pray and comfort with a couple of terrified Grandmothers...

I "wished for" something or someone that could really help our Katie, and hey presto, by sheer luck, a world renowned heart surgeon who specializes in children's hear surgery just "happened by".
Amazing coincidence? You'll never convince me of that!

God bless you!!

I did not necessarily believe that God answers specific prayers until I went to a prayer group and started documenting all the prayers that were lifted up and by the end of 2 months I had at least 50 prayers that were answered.

That amazed me, and it still does. Some of the prayers were kind of generic but there were 2 that stood out the most. 2 women at the church had been praying for the salvation of their spouses, had been praying for a few decades or more, and at the end of the 2 months, their spouses both came to church with the ladies.

I believe that the power of prayer intensifies when you are with a group. I was an unbeliever until I saw it for myself.

Blessings!!

Too many times to count....just twice alone yesterday.

My dog had surgery, I asked God to help him come out OK - and he did!

And I had a tough buisness meeting, counselling two difficult employees, and I asked God for the right words to say so the meeting would go well - and it did!

Once you develop a real deep prayer relationship with God, you see His divine hand at work all around you in everything you say or do.

Suddenly there are no more "coincidences" or "lucky breaks".

He is over all and in all and through all!

Have a great day!!!

sure. A relatives pal became in a foul vehicle accident some years returned. The clinical institution artwork tension mentioned it became relatively unlikely he could even stay on the night. He had suggestions harm, a mashed up jaw, broken ribs, inner bleeding, and lots extra. They mentioned interior the "unlikely journey" that he got here out of his coma, he could be critically suggestions broken, and quite probable completely paralysed. We as we talk placed him on our church Prayer Chain (Baptist at that element) and in spite of the fact that the opportunities have been so low, below a million% danger i think they mentioned... he has made a surprising restoration. he's walking around the streets even immediately, very practically seven years later. He has to placed on glasses and walks and sounds slightly diverse. His face is a quite diverse shape, yet otherwise, he's large... i understand that God responded our prayers that day, and that i thank Him for permitting our pal's little ones to advance up with their father. compliment the Lord, certainly, for he's magnificent!!! i'm at present praying a pair of private remember, and that i understand that he's answering my prayers, yet i'm undecided that i can decipher His "warning signs"... with extra prayer and help from my Christian friends, i understand that i will understand what he's attempting to tell me. each and every from time to time God's solutions are not the solutions we want, and each from time to time it takes a on an analogous time as to appreciate, yet i even have self belief that He solutions all prayers.

Yeah, God answered one of my prayers directly. I was headed to church one morning and saw a house that was for sale. I was hesitant about calling, but my husband insisted. After I called about it, then I went into my bedroom and prayed about it. Well that very same day, I got a call from the owner. He told me that his answering machine tape was full of callers inquiring about the house and he felt like he should choose mine to call back on. I believe that God was behind this because here it is, three years later and I am now in the process of buying the house. Thank you God, for my home.

I believe that God has answered many of my prayers, but in all honesty, there aren't any that can be unequivocally attributed to Him. I think that is how He wants it, and that's OK.

God absolutely answered a prayer instantaneously for me. I was making French Fries on the stove for my 14 month old daughter. The pot caught on fire, I was only 21 and I didn't know what to do with a pot full of flaming oil. I did know I couldnt throw water on it. So I decided to throw the pot out the back door before it burned down the house. As I was walking out to the back porch with the pot of flaming oil the door shut and jostled my arm, causing the flaming oil to catch me on fire. The back porch was very small so I couldn't stop, drop, & roll..especially considering there was a flaming kettle of oil out there with me. I was trying to pat and smother fire out but it wouldn't work, it was just getting worse. I began to get lightheaded and thought I was going to pass out. Finally I decided that's it I'm going to die right here on the back porch. I happened to look over and I noticed flames from the pot of oil were catching the house on fire and I remembered my little girl was in the house all alone. The house was the only house on our street and I knew the house would burn up with her in it before anyone would know it was on fire. I had always been a Christian and out of despair I cried out "Please please God help me". As soon as I said that the fire on me went completely out. I was able to put the fire that was burning the house out. I managed to get my daughter and get to a hospital. I suffered from severe 2nd and 3rd degree burns. They told me in the burn unit and at the hospital if I had breathed in the flames I would have died because it would have burned my throad and my lungs. The only place left that is scarred is my left arm and I will have a severe scar there for the rest of my life. But I am here and more importantly she is here. God does answer prayers and he does perform miracles. Maybe not when you want or how you want, but in his time. And in time you will find his time is right on time. My only regret about my entire situation is I didn't ask for his help sooner. Thank you God for helping me.
