Does anyone know how I can find my brother, I know he is in Australia but I haven't heard from him for 10 years when I first met him when he was 18 and he met my mum for the first time (he was adopted into another family). I feel the loss of the brother I didn't have and really want to see how he is. Any ideas anyone on how to track him down?

Start doing searches on various websites by entering his name. Also, you can place notes in adoption forums.

Good luck!

You should subscribe to Ancestry.com and search under the Austrailian records. I was able to find people I haven't seen in over 15 years and found family members I didn't know existed. I wish you the best of luck.

So you have a name! congratulations thats one of the most challenging things to find, but australia has open records so its not that hard to get it in that country.

From the name try doing some free name searches in the country, or go to the agency he was adopted from and see if they can help you? sorry, i'm not good with helping overseas searches, i have no experience in it.

good luck!!
