i get lonely extremely easily. i get depressed if i don't have someone to talk to every single day. i'm dependent and clingy. i just need other people way too much. is there anything i can do about this?

in particular, would there be any kind of medication for something like this, other than antidepressants? (which don't seem to help with this.)

it would take a novel to describe every thing i feel.

the thing is, i don't want to see a counselor or psychiatrist or anything like that. i have before and i hated it.

For the symptoms given in your question only and only Homeopathic Medicine can cure you, Homeopathy treats the person not the disease or disorder. So how and what you feel physically and emotionally are the imortant most factors in finding the appropriate remedy for you. By what you have written so far your remedy seems to be PULSATILLA in 30X or 30C potency it is mostly prescribed for highly emotional weepy kind of females or it could be the remedy SEPIA which has the fear of lonliness and the weepy symptoms are there as well.
Can you post your exact symptoms in detail exactly the way you feel them from head to toes Physical and emotional symptoms, so I can possibly help you find the right medication for you.

Take Care and God Bless.

To me, it seems as though you rely on other people to provide you with a sense of value: you are only worthwhile if someone can be bothered to spend time with you.
What you need to do is find out who you really are: what you like to do, what makes you feel good, not just needed. And, very importantly, find somethings you are good at and make that work for you.
Failing that, why not use this neediness to to help other needy people? There are a lot of people in retirement villages, etc, who don'thave anyone who visits or cares about them and they would love to have someone who is willing to share bits of their lives. Improving life for someone else and being around other people....hmmm...could work out well for all of you.
PS: I think we all rely on antidepressants way too much to cure our problems...and I am bipolar so I have taken my fair share. I think we need to learn to take control, a little bit at a time. The only way to eat an elephant is a bite at a time.

It sounds like you would benefit more from therapy than from medication. Medication is only meant to improve life to the point where therapy would be beneficial. It's not a catch-all solution.

You need to get over it , the more you need the less chance you will get . You have to become comfortable with yourself so others will be comfortable around you Duh !
