I saw a program with Jules Sylvester on Animal Planet and they tested various animals for strongest bite force. The winner was the saltwater crocodile. I don't remember how many pounds per square inch it was, but it was a lot.

I think crocs and alligators have the strongest bite force - going over two thousand pounds psi I think.

Crocodile is for sure, that was once on Dhe Discovery Chanel. Hyena is also somewhere in the top 5...

yeah the crocodile wins...i saw that programme too! Jaguars also have strong bites...and i would say the hyena and lion do too.
