I've read a few of your questions about Christians or ostensibly for Christians, and in all cases so far it strongly appears that your m.o. in asking these questions is not to actually learn anything about them, or bridge any misunderstandings you feel you may have about them, but merely so you can give them thumbs down. The various and known beliefs or lack thereof of those answering this current "question" seem to bear this out. You're not here to "learn" anything from or about Christians, and your pathetic and shameful prior "questions" concerning them are proof of that. "Inquiress", eh? How about "Deceitress"?

An excuse to believe something that otherwise has no evidence to indicate that the faithed object is real or that the faithed event will ever happen.

Not to be rude, but I've been noticing that you have been asking a lot of questions referring to the beliefs of Christians. Most of them seem to be viewed upon a pretty skeptical POV from you, so it's a good thing that you asked for the source of why Christians believe: Faith. It's up to you, though, to take these answers seriously or as an "Analysis."

Faith is something hoped for, and a belief to recieve. Such as you have a job, you work all week, you have faith that you will get a paycheck on payday.
