Sorry, I don't get it? Then why would you even want to attend church? And who or what has so got up your nose that you find "Jesus" so offensive?
I'm not implying that you haven't a good reason for both of these, but I'd dearly like to know what! Sounds as if you've met some of those "Christians" who bombard you with the faith and the name until you want to hit them - and they certainly can be off-putting, I would agree.
But the fact that you think you "might want to attend church" intrigues me. It suggests that you are really seeking some spiritual guidance and answers to your purpose in life, why you were born, how you can understand the connection between your life as a human being and the meaning of it all. It also implies that you instinctively feel it just might be available in the context of a church.
I'd like to be able to assure you that you will find these answers in a church - but speaking from 60 years of experience, I must be honest and say you COULD find in a church someone who might be able to offer you some real help. It MIGHT even be the minister, priest, clergyman - all things are possible. But there are no guarantees.
Sometimes you find exactly what you've been searching for is right under your nose all the time. And often your guidance comes from totally unexpected sources - a person you'd never have thought could help you suddenly says something that switches on a light for you. A book someone recommends turns out to be a mine of unfathomable riches. A movie you see shows you with overwhelming clarity a truth about life and living, about people and relationships, that relates so completely to your own life that you feel it is speaking directly to you.
God really does move in mysterious ways! And He also speaks through those you know to be Christians - so forgive them if they do mention Jesus from time to time, because otherwise, if you stop your ears the moment the name is uttered, you might miss something really valuable that they have to say.
Churches are worldly organisations, and amongst their members are both real believers, and those who attend because they've been brought up to it, they think they'll go to hell if they don't, they find it a useful place to widen social contacts, or they find that it's politically expedient for their social standing in their work or their community to do so.
What you must do is to use the brain you have been given and learn to discriminate between them. If you are prepared to take the time and make the effort to do this, it will help you to find what you're really looking for.
I wish you all the best in your search!

Yeah, I guess it's called Islam, Buddhist, or Hindu. Or, I guess you could just chuck the whole idea and become an Atheist. Jesus is at the heart of Christianity & the Church. To not hear about Him means not hearing about His love for us and the way of salvation that He has provided for us. To not hear about Jesus rejects Him and rejects the greatest gift (redemption) given to mankind. Rejecting Jesus means rejecting the only way to Heaven. ...Not a good idea. What really wrong and bad thing has Jesus done to you? He offended you how? Did He die to take away the sins of everybody except you? NO.If you don't want to hear about Jesus, what is it that you want to hear about and worship?

Does the name Jesus Christ frighten the demon in you? Do you know that on judgment day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord; even those who have don’t believed.
For this reason God raised him to the highest place above and gave him the name that is greater than any other name. And so, in honor of the name of Jesus all beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will fall on their knees, and all will openly proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

by church u r refereing to a building where people gather to worship God or something else they hv exalted to god.
if you gather with Christians you will be worshiping Jesus Christ the Lord and Savior.
if u go anywhere else then u will hear everything else except Jesus. but i hope u will open ur heart to Jesus who died that u may live.

I read and watched the DaVinci code too...
is he a man or is he a God... (they are so brave to write it and exclaim it in that movie though...) well... I don't know what other religions say about this...and I feel pointless to know because it would end up being "persons" p.o.v rather...

Then you have no hope of salvation
You'll be wasting your time going to church. Going to Church
won't save you. The one in whom you rejected is your only way

I'm afraid not. Any church or religious group you go to will, at some time, either affirm the divinity of Christ or deny it. Have a great time finding one.

you'd have to go to a religion that doesn't believe in Jesus Christ. that would be a false religion that would lead to eternal damnation...but if that's what you're looking for...
i wouldn't recommend it by the way.
it's no good.
blessings.
