No, there is no "Scientology afterlife"... and no, Scientology isn't as widespread as they claim it to be.
Scientology asserts that we're all "immortal spirits" which pass from body to body, life to life, and never really settle in an "eternal beyond".
Scientology tends to boast membership numbers in the 10's of millions, but the number of adherents is in reality around 500,000 worldwide.

Although most people wont believe this in this forum, let me set the record straight.
One of the basic tenants of Scientology is "What is true for you is what you have observed yourself".
The question on where you go after you pass away, if you do go somewhere or not, or if you go to heaven or hell, or if you are born again etc, is something which you must come to a realization of yourself.
It is true that L. Ron Hubbard (founder of Scientology) has written extensively about this subject. In his research into the mind and spirit, some people receiving Dianetics counseling were able to recall incidents in previous lifetimes among other things. This phenomenon is not part of the church's dogma, however it is something commonly experienced. Scientology is not the first religion to investigate past lives or reincarnation but it certainly is a fascinating subject.
And unlike what the other people might say, it does not involve any spaceship or people from other planets (that isnt Scientology and it is a far- fetched & ridiculous idea to say the least.)
Scientology is one of the fastest growing religions on earth, Thousands of churches and missions are located in over 110 nations on earth in virtually every major city, and the doors are open to anyone no matter what your race color or creed.
You dont have to convert to be a Scientologist, its an all denominational church. Many people who have studied Scientology technology have became closer to the religion that they originally belong to. And some even become closer to their God or creator, because the indivisual can take a look at things a lot more clearly, and more throughly examine his place in the universe, and his attainment of brotherhood with infinity.
That is one of the results of Scientology and one of the targets of almost all of the great religions and teachers of this world.

Scientology doesn't have the Christian "afterlife" concept, that there is a Heaven or Hell waiting for us when we die.
However it was "modern psychology" in the late19th century, coming out of Germany that started promoting the idea that man was just a one lifetime animal. And this was to assist
Kaiser Wilhelm in his war mongering at the time, since it conveniently removed any reason for guilt or conscience from his troops in killing their fellow man for purely ecomomic conquest.
This effectively wiped out thousands of years of previous religious and spiritual philosophy in the Western world.
The idea that man is a spiritual being has been around
for more than 10,000 years. Eastern thought, Hindu and later Buddhism , the Ancient Egyptians, the Ancient Greek Philosophers all knew that man was not a one lifetime animal. This is a very recent idea in the Western World and now conveniently used to control people.
Communist Russia for example and now China were and are determined to erase this concept by suppressing and removing religions of ANY kind.
So while it is true that many people have no memory of , or
"forget" that they have lived previous lives, this is not a valid reason to invalidate our spiritual nature, since some of us forget what we had for breakfast this morning !
In Scientology many people have certainty that they have lived lives prior to their current one. These are referred to as past lives, not as reincarnation. But past lives is not a dogma in Scientology. The concept that one has had a physical or other existence prior to the identity of ones current body is not a new concept.
There are currently over 10 million Scientologists internationally in over 160 countries world wide. However it is still a new religion, less than 55 years old.
The true story of Scientology as a religion goes like this:
1. A philosopher developes a philosophy about life and death.
2. People find it interesting.
3. People find it works.
4. People pass it along to others.
5. It grows.
