OK let me clear something up here. PLEASE stop using the broad term Christians. There are a great many of us of different denominations who believe different things. I say this because there are a LOT of crazy groups out there who refuse to take the Bible as a book that has a lot of symbolism and is not all hard facts.
Evangelical groups are pretty crazy and believe some pretty weird things about dinosaurs, and stay firm in the conviction that the earth is 6000 years old. As a Catholic I will say that my church has lead the way in a more academic understanding of the Bible as part history, part symbolic allegory. The Church has accepted evolution long ago and we have learned to accept science as a working dynamic of God's plan. So when you guys ask questions like, "why do Christians hate atheists", or "why do Christians hate gays?" you're usually generalize and asking about a small minority of the Christian community. Other Churches like the Presbyterian, Methodist, Lutheran and others have also come to a better understanding of Scripture.
The answer is, yes, of course we believe. Some of us at least. And we don't believe they were in the Garden of Eden, we don't believe any other crazy stuff. They were alive long before man came to be but that does not mean God did not breath Life into man.

Depends how strictly you define "christian". I agree you may be over-generalising, but i guess you may just be wanting an overview.
Myself i am an atheist, and a lot of my friends are also atheists, but i have some friends who are somewhat christian or muslim. But most of them have degrees in science, so my sample may be biased.
My partner is vaguely monotheistic. His parents are vaguely Catholic, and he beleived in God, but i don't think he quite identifies as Christian. He also has a degree in zoology. He is infuriated by creationism even more than some atheists.
I have another friend who is a liberal Catholic, he beleives in god, and even christ dying for humanity's sins, and the vergin birth, but he still accept the evidence against a literal interpretation against the story of genesis. (he also has a science degree).
My muslim friend thinks that evolution, which i guess would include the past existance of dinosaurs, is compatable with the Quran, because though it says that god created man and the animals it doesn't state a specific time line like the bible does.

Yes of course. Only ignorant Muslims and Christians would deny their existence after seeing the facts or knowing about them.

Yes. I believe there were dinosaurs in the garden of Eden. The Bible does mention large beasts.

Of course. We have the bones to prove it.Even if the world is only about 6,000 years old don't forget 1 year could be 1000 years to God and 1000 years could be 1.
