What i mean - do they really think about what they are asking..
I am not talking about people who question lumps, biospies or like..
I am talking about those who Ask WHAT it is Like to have Cancer (like it is a fun day in the park) OR those who want to know what to do to Qualify to get cancer..

maybe i am being sensitive but i am finding there are some questions that make me think WHAT the??

Being the child of 2 parents who were diagnosed within a month of ea other is hard enough, and then to lose one parent in april this yr to the disease is another..
I ahve seen the impact it has had on both my parents (thro chemo and radio) and also them being told that there is NOTHING else they (the drs) can do..
I wonder do people really seriously think before placing fingers to keyboard and typing them..

MOI - i can understand you wanting to be there for your family - BUT my question maybe anger is to questions - maybe poorly worded - to things like What you ahve to do to get cancer.. Like it is a cool thing to have..
Cancer isn't cool..
My parents told me everythign and my father wanted to be here for his 4 grandkids - his 5th was born 2mths after he passed..

Good luck in reaching your goal..

Most of the really inappropriate postings seem to be meant to be jokes, or annoyance to adults and are posted by relatively young children.

People sometimes joke about things that frighten them.

I know a couple of teenagers who have cancer - wish I could help them meet up with these silly little jokers.

I have colon cancer. Stop being so sensitive. I am willing as hard as I can to make it to my youngest's high school graduation. But what I want to tell you is what parents want our kids to know.

We do think so much of what our kid's are thinking when we are going through the chemo's and surgery, etc...... You are placing your anger at dummies who don't understand what this disease does to a family.

I NEED to say to you what I want to say to my kids. I am gonna hang on as long as I can. When this disease finally wins, I will still be there. I wanted to be there forever for you, but my body gave out. I hope you listened to me. Be well-mannered, thoughtful, and you are known by your actions.
I love you.

Yes, cancer shouldn't be taken lightly. I have already live a year past my due date, and I have 6 years to go by my goal.

Agree. There are a lot of very doubtful questions on 'Answers' but also some very good ones. Sorry to hear of your parents illnesses. If you see any bad ones report them and ignore the rest. Most people don't think like this I'm sure.
