or do you think that its nobody elses business, even though it was a university field camp. And most of the students are hippys in the course anyway.

Interesting ... you say 'dob' ... are you an Aussie?

Anyway, I personally would not report the teacher unless the students were under age, or the teacher was taking drugs and driving or other dangerous behaviour.

If the students are underage, I would report the teacher to the school first off and see if they took any action.

If the students are over 18 (or whatever the age of adulthood is where you live), I would not get involved.

Legally, I guess one should but I could not be bothered. And I would do NOTHING unless I had seen it with my own eyes and was willing to stand up in a court of law and say so.

(And no, I DO NOT personally take any drugs!)

Cheers :-)

Yes. This professor is violating university policy, I'm sure, and if you are aware of it I'm sure other people are as well. He's setting a very poor example for the students and tarnishing the reputation of the school.

Well I probably wouldn't cover for him if anybody asks, I would not know anything. That IS nobody elses business, but I understand your concern, it was kind of crossing the line when he smoked on campus when others could be offended.

Absolutely. I had the same thing with my supervisor. He was smoking dope and god knows what else with people under him. I am not sure who to tell and do not want to nake trouble but have to tell someone.

I say pot is the most harmless drug there is. If it really bothers you maybe you should talk to him and tell him you saw him and maybe in the future he should keep that activity at home and away from school. Other than that, I say let him have his fun.
