so, 'born-again' people think they are going straight to heaven after they die, but the ones they provoke to anger are going to hell.

how unfair is that?

We (You, myself, others) do not get to decide. You are twisting information around and making the question lacking in several spots. You present a case which would supposedly always occur, but it does not always happen from point "A" to point "B" like you say it does. Christians are not supposed to provoke anger. It is the other person's choice on whether or not he gets angry, anyway. That is fair because, like you, they would know that if they were to get angry, they would go to Hell if they were to die. In other words, you are judged upon what you know. After you know, it becomes a choice, and if you choose wrong like the angered person you mentioned, you go to Hell if you do not repent. THE end.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. So do you believe? Am I provoking you to anger? I don't think so it is something that we are told to do, by God. If it is so unfair, why don't you just not be part of those people that are going to hell. Right now you have the choice, you complain that it's not fair but you have the choice not to go to hell, just as everyone does.

Okay, Christians are not the ones determining who goes to hell. It has nothing to do with how we feel about anybody. I wish everyone would choose to be saved and live forever in heaven. I don't wish hell on ANYBODY. It's far too awful!

God is the One who is the Judge. That's His right; He is God, after all. He gives everyone the freedom to choose to accept or reject relationship with Him. He doesn't want anyone to go to hell either, but He allows people to choose to reject Him if they want to. God is the Source of everything good, so when a person chooses to cut themselves off from Him, they have nothing good left.

No one HAS to go to hell. Jesus has paid the price for everyone; all anyone has to do is accept Him.

As I said before........

excuse us for being concerned for your eternal soul

You percieve concern as provocation becasue we aren't saying what you want to hear.

I suppose the statement I just made will provoke you too, but it isn't intended to do that......it is merely out of concern for your soul because eternity is an awfully long time compared to the few years you are here on earth
