I'm going out on a date tomorrow. I asked him. I want to know how to tell if a guy wants a hug at the end of the date, or what should I look for so I know not to. I like to hug other people, I'm just friendly and outgoing but I really like this guy. I wouldn't want to kiss him because I think that's going way too fast.

Don't mean to insult you, but this is kind of a dumb question. A guy is always open to being hugged by a girl, it's just their nature, they like being touched by women. It the guy who should worry whether it's appropriate to hug or kiss or give a girl a handshake or not, because it is always the woman's prerogative whether she wants to be touched or not. But trust me, all guys are open to being hugged by a girl, even the gay ones.

Use your intuition. If u think that both of u are comfortable with each other and there is a chemistry. You observe how the guy treated u. If u feel that you are also especial to him then you can give him a hug after the end of the date. But if you feel that he is not interested with you and he does not enjoy your company then he does not deserve your hug.

Most guys would like whatever they can get, and a hug is a heckuva lot better than nothing.
Hug him. Save the kiss for later on if that's your wish. Hugs are great. I'll take a hug whenever I can get one and if it's a nice looking girl I'll take as many as I can get.

Well sometimes you have to just do it and take a chance you never know what will become of it. So just give him a hug and be like "I'm gonna miss hanging out over the summer!" and that just might strike up a hang out date for the summer, never know. But take a chance! Good Luck!

I think most couples just kinda drift into a hug, but generally, if I guy wants a hug, he comes most of the way toward youwith his arms out. You could try starting out with your arm around him and then glide into a hug.

Just go for it if he really doesn't want to hug he'll let you know.
Just put your arms out to gesture a hug and say something like I had fun tonight.
If he says me too and just looks at you strange he doesn't want a hug, otherwise he'll just come in and give you the hug your gesturing for.

A hug is a perfect thing to do...its shows that you are interested but as you said, its not agressive. I say go for it, no worries, thats never going to freak a guy out. Good luck

or maybe your way to slow lol go with the flow i think maybe just a hug may give the impession you dont realy care for him so just maybe a kiss may be in order if the date goes well

lol just give it to him...and see how he responds. start off with a light hug; within the first few seconds, you'll know if he's holding onto you too. when he loosens his grip, then pull away. simple.
