Yes bananas are good as part of breakfast and a good source of potassium and carbohydrates too. However, two bananas will not make you satsify longer and probably, will leave you hungry in just a short time.

Bananas have medium GI too.

It is best to add some protein in your every meal to feel you full for longer hours.

Why not try banana sandwich? Like, 2 slices of wholemeal bread (source of starch carbs), a coating of peanut butter (about 1tbsp. or 2 it depends on you- your protein source in this breakfast) and slice one banana and place it into your bread. You can toast and heat the sandwhich too if you want. Have a glass of orange juice too. Now, that is a good breakfast and more filling too.

On the other hand, why not chop a banana into your preferred cold cereal with milk? And have a slice of toast with a little butter and jam?

I hope this helps.

They can be a PART of a healthy breakfast, as has been stated by many others already. Along with those bananas, inlcude cereal; eggs; milk; other fruits; sausages/"breakfast" meat; etc. You don't have to have all of them at the same sitting, but just eating banansa isn't good for you.

And if you do get hungry again before lunch, there is no law that says you have to wait until lunch to eat something.

I doubt 1 banana would fill anybody up. Eat it with cereal or maybe a peanut butter on wheat sandwich. Potassium, protein, and fiber. Remember, if you are still hungry, then your body is telling you that you need more. Just be careful with the "what more" you choose. Breakfast is just that, break fast. Meaning you are breaking your fasting in between dinner and lunch. Not just snack fast. A good breakfast is a very vital part of a healthy diet. Don't rob yourself by skimp'n on it.

FYI, a medium-sized banana has about 100 calories. If you want to slim down, you can, as the others have said, slice it and add to a bowl of cereal. If you still have that urge to consume more, and you want to limit your food intake, try drinking water before eating breakfast so that you will feel full faster.

The first thing that comes to mind with healthy diet is "low fate intake" but it's totally insane to associate unhealthy life with fates only. Of course, it's equally important. A healthier diet is the one which contains everything needed from proteins, vitamins, lipids etc etc. It's suggested that you consult a dietician who will help you in this connection. I know I am not answering exactly but I hope it's told the concept somehow. Good luck :)

They are quite possibly one of the best sources for potassium. Vitamin k. It is recommended to have a banana a day. Too much potassium can have negative effects. There is also the issue that bananas are one of the more fattening fruits. Try to stick with just one.

Negative. Bananas are high in fructose which is sugar derived from fruit. Your body will break it down as dextrose and use just like sugar. That means you will have a slight sugar rush and then crash because you do not have any solid food on your stomach. I would suggest eating a complete meal. If you want to lose weight, eat a complete meal in small portions.

Of course bananas are healthy, but since you are still hungry your body is telling you to eat more. Therefore, have something else besides bananas, like cereal with milk, pancakes, or waffles.

2 Bananas are much better then 1 banana and a bag of doritos or even 1 banana and some other junk food. Fruit is good for you and bananas have alot of potassium in them. They will help you avoid muscle cramps and I think eating them is excellent too.
