Why is the first question you asked - where can you get a poodle for a 'special price'????? Do you have ANY idea how much a dog costs in food, vet bills, training, boarding kennels when you travel, desexing!!!!???? Just today I was at the vets with sick dogs and walked away $400 poorer. Whether you pay $200 from a rescue society or $1000 from a breeder it is still only a fraction of what the dog is going to cost you - if you are worried about price now, then reconsider. And I agree with a previous post - puppies are puppies for a very short time - are you still going to love him/her "the most" when they've lost their puppy appeal??

You love puppies, but they don;t stay puppies very long. Just a few short months. Toy dogs tend to live 15 years or so. That's 14 years as a dog not a puppy. Do you love dogs just as much as puppies? If so try a Poodle Rescue.

To get one at a "special price" from a breeder would probably mean the pup had problems or it would be the same price as the others.

The Humane Society, pound dogs need good homes too. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a dog from a puppy mill, why not give a dog that really needs a home a home?

Try all the rescue places in your area first.
check your news paper too. Sometimes you can get a young adult free to a good home.
