was creation of God, just like Adam. What about him was god-like, was he able to stop anyone from crucifying him( i don't believe he was crucified). From what i understand God is all-knowing , all-powerful. Please do not say that God did this for our sins, because God could just forgive us, rather than sacrifice himself.

Jesus is the son of God which makes him a part of God. In human mine set, compare it to human father and son.
Yes, Jesus could have prevented anything the Father allowed. It was God 'will'. Jesus prayed for Him to "take this cup from me" meaning what was coming "but your will not mine" meaning if it must be, I will do it.

Why God chose this method is bewildering to me yet I know it was a lesson for us. That being that He knows we are unable to live by the "law" so he gave us an out. Jesus took the beatings for us so we can now ask to be forgiven when we break the 'law'. He came back to life after 3 days and walked the earth to show us that there is life after death and taught us how we, too, can live. He ascended into Heaven and told us we can be with Him in the next life if we accept and believe and ask that He forgive our past wrongs (sin). He taught us how to talk (pray) to the Father and the Son.

Jesus is not a creation like Adam. Adam was the first man. Jesus was the Son. Adam sinned. Jesus did not. Jesus taught and showed us by His miracles that He was more than a man. Adam was a farmer and taught nothing and did nothing remarkable

That is the best I can do without using the forbidden word (sacrifice).

Hope this helped or another answer will help.

First off John 10:30 I and my Father are one. So that means nothing than huh? Secondly I assume you don't believe that Jesus was even born than? If so than why is it that God using the Holy Spirit made the virgin mary pregnant with Jesus? If he was just a prophet than why wasn't Jesus just born of normal natural conception?

Also when Jesus was baptized why did God say And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased (Luke 3:22)

God hates sin that is one reason he sent his son, along with showing is undefying love for us.

Also if Jesus was just a prophet than how did he know so much scripture? and leave people speachless?

Hello Richie Spice.. :)

Yes..God could have just forgiven us, without giving His Son's life for us..

But then, what would we have learned, from our past and present mistakes.. :(

Do not parents teach us right from wrong..do they not discipline us when we do wrong..do they not teach us how we can do it right, the next time?

The same for our Heavenly Father..without Jesus dieing for our sins..we still would be having animal sacrifices, which we all know did not cover our sins completely.. :(

Yes..Jesus could have called angels to take Him off the cross..but then satan would not have been defeated..

I am here if you have any more questions..or need a scripture to support my answer here.. :)

God can't just forgive us like you say, because everything has cosmic order, to violate it would cause the universe to plunge into chaos.

The same way God cannot violate your will and make you believe in Him, because your free will is part of the cosmic order.

I'm explaining this in simple terms but that basicly what it is about.

The sacrificial aspects were added later I'm sure.
At some point Rome said that if they couldn't beat them then join them, then change them.
It was brilliant. If you look at all the quotes attributed to Jesus he sounds just like Buddha or any number of other people, he just had his "own" way of describing the same experience that's available to us all.

Christ isn't a last name. Christ is the revelation of God and this Christ is part of each of us.

We are all one in God through Christ by love.
We are immune to judgment by not judging.

Jesus was a man and I doubt he knew about virgin births. Still he was profound and absolute in his revelation. He claimed the birthright that's available to each of us.

The good news is that we're all Gods.
Love others as yourself without judgment and you will see what I mean... it's guaranteed to work without 500 lifetimes of meditation.

God did not want to stop Jesus from being crucified (otherwise he could have).

Yes god died for 'our' sins, because if one person (the devil) could condemn everyone to hell, then one person (jesus) could save everyone as well (from hell, ring a bell?).

I believe that is how christian theologians explain it.

Christians know Jesus is God and lives with them. yes he could have stopped the crusifixtion at any time but he knew that was the plan and will of the father.
I know Jesus is alive today and lives in my heart. he was not mearly a man.

I find it hard to believe that he was a creation of god because there is no evidence that he actually existed

all you need to do is read what He said...to make it easy on yourself, check out a copy that has His words in red and just read that part...all the answers are there...and thanks for setting the parameters of what God can and should do...i'm sure He values your input
