I am not at all afraid to die, as I was clinically dead twice following a bad accident...
There is nothing to fear about death, I just would not like to die very slowly and painfully, like a lot of people do as the powers that be won't endorse euthanasia...
Blessed Be... )O(
Edit:- To the miserable low life who gave me the thumbs down... I would dearly love to break both your hands with a sledge hammer, and that's just a start, so you could never type again...
I was nearly killed by a bastard who stabbed me 6 times and then put the boots in, the ambo's had to revive me twice before they got me to the hospital..Enough said...
I call it an accident as then usually I don't have to explain what happened...
Keep it up laughing boy, because people like you will get their just deserves.....
)O(

I am terrified of dying, I have two children to worry about and a wife. Beyond that, I am still scared of death. I rather enjoy life, and do not look forward to non existence. If I could, I would live forever.
Do not mistaken my answer as though I constantly think about death, I do not.. But I am honest with myself, when I do think about it, I do not enjoy the thought of not existence.. I have yet to meet anyone who is just fine with it.. Fortunately, I have not known any person who really wants to die.

There are different types of fear. Like, the fear of failing at something you're trying really hard to achieve. The fear of public humiliation. The fear of an abusive parent. I mean, the physiological result of these fears are the same, but that which triggers them is different in each case. The fear of death is very unique...IMO. And yes, I have a fear of death. Only creatures not in possession of a normally functioning mind don't fear death.

I've died twice already, and I can tell you for a fact living is far more of a fearful spectre than death could ever be. Too much romanticism of death and all the images it conjures up in our finite and futile imaginations has spoiled what can be an otherwise pleasant experience.

Not at all . for the Bible gives clear information about the dead.
It simply says that they are asleep in the grave.
No mention about floating away to heaven , no mention about getting burnt to a crisp in some firey place of torture call hell.
Just the ground.
I follow what it really written in the Bible because it is trustworthy and true ,.you can too.

Yes, only because I know that my son needs me. I know what he would be subjected to if I were gone. That scares me. Other than that, no. Death is a natural part of life and it happens to everyone.

No. I just hope it does not happen too soon. I would like to travel to New Zealand before the event.

No. Been there, done that, decided it wasn't quite time yet.
It wasn't so bad. ;)
If you're wondering, I'm an atheist, and no, I didn't call out to "god" during what I thought were my last moments. I don't find the void of non-existence at all scary, and now that I've done it, even less so.

No because life's too short to worry about death. If I sat around and worried about it then I'd never enjoy life.
