I haven't seen it but I have a collegue who talks enough about it that I think I can talk about it.
from what my collegue has told me I think he's forgotten something. yes there is a danger to a non-government run health system like ours because some people are denied healthcare pretty much in the name of money. But where I have family, in china and I'm from the urban area, sometimes doctors take advantage of patients by giving them too much care which also puts their lives in danger all in the name of money.
I had a relative where she started puberty early on, normal but early, so the doctor put her on hormones to stop her puberty because the adults in her life worried she wouldn't grow anymore. becuase of that, that left her extremely short. She's too short, the doctor prescribes growth hormones. She has headaches, the headaches were from stress, prescribe some Vicodin. This problem, prescribe something. that problem, prescribe something. Without even folowing through. What's worse? then I foudn out it's common practice over there. With no regards to the consequences that may follow down the road. No one over there is ever going to tell a foreigner this so they would have never told Michael Moore. I had the same problems and ailments my relative did. My doctor prescribed a bike and roller blades. A pair of high heeled shoes and a cool towel. I found out if a doctor in the US did what the doctor did in China, that doctor would have long lost his/her license.

I saw it. I actually liked it more than I thought I would. I felt that it was fair enough, but not completely even-sided. Every heath care system has it's positives and it's negatives. I felt he highlighted only the positives of other types of health care in other countries, and only the negative about the American health care system. I've personally only had good experiences with my health care service. I've been insured under BCBs for about 6 years, had multiple surgeries, babies, complications, traumas, ER visits, ambulance rides, you name it, the four of us have been through it. We've never been denied on anything, and they've always paid full on everything. The few times there's been a discrepancy, when I've called, they'd fix it the first time. I know this may not be the typical story for health care in America, but it's all I know personally. I don't plan on leaving this job, because I know I have a great health plan. I only spend $120 a month to insure my family of four, and I have no co-pays, not even for an ER visit or surgery. Hope this is what you're looking for!

I was deeply saddened watching Sicko.
Perhaps it was one sided, as others have stated, but I know of so many people in the US who have worked hard in their lives then lost it all because they got sick and because of the illness lost their job and their medical coverage.
As well, so many Americans do believe they are covered but when they do get sick find out that the coverage they have is not sufficient to cover the costs involved in treating their illness, or they are severely limited in their choices.
I have to wonder why a country that is so rich, claims to be the land of plenty doesn't take care of the people's health, the very people who help to build this country into what it is today.
The other thing that this movie made me believe, along with talking to Americans is that the government is brain washing people into a state of fear of gov't supplied medical.
Just read here at Yahoo answers how many people state they can't go see the doctor because they don't have medical coverage.......ouch

If he grew to become into purely an entertainer like quite a few different moviemaker that does entertainment, there is no longer something incorrect along with his stuff. If human beings desire to spend their money on that, greater ability to them. yet he pretends to be a documentary maker or that human beings ought to interpret his movies as being authentic and real. many cases, they don't seem to be recommendations-blowing or they are downright untruthful. yet he pretends this is all straightforward. and that's purely cheating. He will strengthen sturdy questions. He purely would not continually supply actual solutions.
