Hi! From your color description, the first thing that popped into my head was 'Creamsicle.'

But - I answered a question like this previously, and this is basically what I said:

There is a book at amazon.com which may give you some suggestions: The Big Book of Pet Names: More Than 10,000 Pet Names (Includes Celebrity Pet Names): the Most Complete Guide to Pet Names & Meanings (Paperback) by Eugene Boone (Author) .

A friend of mine had 13 cats, male and female, all named after Roman and Greek gods and goddesses.

Is there a special person you'd like to honor? You could use their name or a form of it that is more suitable as a name for a kitten. Is there a place that holds special meaning for you? Adapt that name. A favorite song or movie? Use a favorite word from the title or lyrics, or the name of a favorite character.

You could use a foreign version of a word or name. A friend found a puppy on a rainy day, and named him 'Parapluie', which is French for 'umbrella.'

You could make a bad pun. Like naming a Collie 'Melon' or 'Flower.' (Think about it a second, you'll get it.) Or make up something silly, like I did back when I named a pet skunk 'Arpege' after my Mom's favorite perfume.

You could make up a name: When I was a teenager I liked 2 boys, Tommy and Rick. So I named my female Siamese kitten 'TomiRiki,' which I pronounced 'Tohma-Rikkee', which sounded like a name for a Siamese cat, so the boys wouldn't know I liked both of them. When Tommy turned out to be a jerk, and Rick asked me to go steady, it was easy to just call my kitten 'Riki' (pronounced 'Rikki).

You could make a connection: A few summers ago I helped rescue a female tiger-tabby kitten. I was thinking: tiger, (tigers have) stripes, (I like the movie) 'Stripes', (which starred) Bill Murray, (who played a character named) 'John Winger', (I like the group) 'Winger'. I didn't think 'Winger' was the right name for the kitten, so I looked up the French translation for 'Winger' and got the name 'Ailier.' I thought it sounded pretty and tried it out on my new little friend, and she apparently liked it because she curled up in my lap and started purring.

Over the years I have found that the best way to choose a name for your pet is to just look at her and notice: ... how the sun lights up her fur ... how her eyes get bigger when she sees you ... how she flicks her tail when she's watching a squirrel out the back window ... how she tilts her head when you talk to her ... how she daintily prances across the room after the ball of yarn you tossed for her ... how she looks like a ragdoll when she sleeps ... how you find yourself smiling when you look at her ...

Just watch her ... The perfect name will come to you.

I hope you and your little one have many happy, healthy years together.

How about "Fifty" as in the 50/50 ice cream bar. That is what those orangesicle icecreams with vanilla on the inside and orange on the outside are called where I live. You could even pronounce it like Fitty (you know like Fifty Cent the rapper) ha ha!

I called one cat I had "Kitty". I recently read somewhere that cats respond best to names that end in an "e" sound.
