religion, what makes us us?
(my belief) instinc+free will = random situation , unique person
the difference of a human and a robot w/ defence,instinct, atack/hate etc...
what makes us different
a robot's randomness would be a mathematical equasion but what about us?
when we are in a bind we cry/hate and resolve , learn from mistakes, new problems
but a robot would go brain dead?
so robots need to be updated
but we self update

God is a trinity:
God
Jesus
Holy Spirit
We are a trinity:
Body
Soul
Spirit
The thing that makes "me" "me" and "you" "you" is your soul. Your body dies (eventually) and your spirit lives on in eternity (you choose where). If you choose Jesus, your spirit is born new and becomes a new creation. This is the spirit that will live in eternity with God. The soul is what makes me an individual and you and individual, and not just the same.

Some would say the soul seperates us from machines, the divine spark. Works fine for those with deities, for those without it depends. It is argueable to say that we are machines made of organic components. Very complicated machines with self writing programming. An evolutionary advance allowing for adaptation of behavior patterns and instincts. In that case there would be no "difference" between human and machine besides the construction and materials. All differences depend on the soul or the spirit, and if that isn't in the equation then the experience of consciousness. To really see if there is a difference you'd have to construct a machine that duplicates all the mental functions of a human and start asking philosophy questions. I don't really know what else to say, since I believe in the soul and all. Good luck

Religion is given to you, we are different and unique individuals and we seek only peace in the here and the now and the afterlife. If you don't even believe then what is left for you then. Why even have an existence at all, it makes no sense why your even alive at all and struggling, some for each breath. Some for their last bit of understanding there is many seeking and reaching for the understanding why these things have to be called us. They are not us, we are given guidance and warnings take it or leave it but make a choice and move on.

Bullshit. Our particular mix of 40 six chromosomes make us human. the shown fact that something approximately that mixture outcomes interior the existence of empathy in maximum human beings is what makes us humanitarians. The universe does not owe you something, you're actually not entitled to an purpose rationalization to your particular existence, you're purely yet somebody else. the shown fact that some human beings have a complicated time looking something excellent or self-satisfying approximately unaugmented actuality, does no longer propose that actuality is invalid.in reality that we are only small areas of a sizable universe, and in reality that we even have thoughts and stories in this tiny part of the universe that maximum persons locate well worth residing for. The universe does not care no count in case you think of this is magical sufficient or no longer. the point of the universe is to no longer please you, and that's unapologetic in case your ego is gloomy with no longer having a actuality tailor made with you in recommendations. the shown fact that maximum of human beings are actually unable to mature and locate something well worth residing for devoid of having to hold directly to fairy thoughts like a protection blanket is saddening, and is no longer a real representation of the quantity of human means. faith, at the same time because it performs a huge section in human beings' lives as a count of situation, isn't what makes us human, and if residing by the word "lack of know-how is bliss" advance into the top of our existence, then we'd be a tragic, pathetic species with no longer something to artwork in direction of. fairly, we've a terrific variety of room for progression, utilising our human means for empathy and cooperation to realize objectives of improving ourselves purely for the sake of no longer ultimate static and ignorant.

Robots are man made and need to be updated, by man. We are God made and God updates our hardware every time we make a mistake and grow from it.

What makes Christians unique is the guidance of the Holy Spirit. For we walk by faith and not by sight. We live according to the Spirit not according to the flesh. †

God is what made us us. We are created in his image. Genesis 1:26-27, we are not robots, do we all have same fingerprints, footprints, as matter of fact, each one of us is so unique even our dna or blood sample can tell on us. The very hairs of our head are numbered, Luke 12:7, Our Lord loves each one of us in a very special way, Like it says in John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosever believeth in him shouldnot perish but have everlasting life. God sent his son Jesus to earth to die for us on a cross and wash away our sins so we could come and be with him in Heaven, thats how much he loves us, he gave his only son Jesus, but praise be to the lamb Christ arose from the grave as we celebrate every Easter, when he arose he forever once and for all washed everyones sins away, now all we have to do is believe and accept his free gift, salvation, its comes by the grace of God thru faith in what Jesus did on the cross, if you would like to be saved just say this Prayer believing, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. If you have any questions just send me an email, God Bless YOU!!

I believe ,
instinct + free will = human
My equation then would be
free will + divine will = unique person.

personally i dont think that "religion" wouldnt be such an issue to everyone if there wasn't truth to it. if we just happened here by chance with no "Higher Power".. why would we even care why we're here if there wasn't a reason for it? didn't really get what you were saying with the robot thing.. decided to put some 2 cents in about religion before i sleep. goodnight!
