I find it admirable that you're willing to put your pride in your back pocket and get on a bus AND you have a job. If you didn't have a job that would be the only thing I was worried about. Save all that gas money for when you can actually pay cash for a car and have a bunch left over. One step further would be a bicycle... and women looooove men on bikes.

I have to admit that would be a hassel... and a big bite on your ego..but honestly...girls go for what you really are..not what your ride is. If you have a fantastic personality...FUNNY...so what if youre both riding the taxi?...its so much better to talk and laugh out loud..when you don't have to fix your attention on the road...right..plus if you can focus your attention on her and not the road...thats a big big plus. It would be an incovinience for a while...but, im sure youll get the hang of it.
And I admire that you are setting your priorities straight...its is way better to pay off all your debts..than having to parade a car to a girl you like which put you in more debt than before.
Remember this, if the girl really really likes you, it doesn't matter if you walk...it's more romantic.

It depends. First of all it sounds like you have a lot of goals, so you are not a loser, like wanting to be debt free. Yes I would date someone without a car as long as I knew it was a short term situation. For a six month period not such a big deal. But if it became an issue where the guy depended on me to get him everywhere I would get out of that relationship fast, because I would read more into it, and think you would always be like that.

You have a goal set and besides, if a woman really cares for you, it won't matter. You both can take taxi's or use her car(if she has one) or take the bus together. if it's a long trip you all have to go on, rent or borrow a car. But she shouldn't dislike you for having a job, setting a goal, and being a good guy.
My boyfriend(of 2 and a half years)sold his car a few months ago to pay off a debt. i told him it was fine, he'll get another car down the road, and we have my car to use and he can drive when we go places, no biggie^_^
Hope this helps and Good luck!

your not a loser. .. you are paying off your debt and that takes a man to do that. I would drive around a boyfriend if he had a good reason not to be driving, and you do. You are trying to be responsible and take care of your **** and that is great! (a lot of people dont do that) You need someone that will understand WHY you dont have a car.. Oh and if someone acts like they care about you and tells you that you are a loser for not having a car, then you need to think long and hard why you are with someone like that :)
Good luck!!

No way, it truly isn't even a huge age distinction. If it grew to become right into a 32 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous guy and a 24 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous woman no person would bat a watch. decide for it, 30 something women all of us is purely as warm as 20 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds.

Six months is not so long. It'll go by sooner than you think. I admire you for getting the debts payed off. Good for you. When I was in my early twenties I dated a guy with no car; we walked to the movies, etc. to the near by Grill. All I cared about was just being with him, I didn't mind walking.... didn't mind making the sacrifices. He was great.

I would work around it, I don't find it to be a big deal, some people can't drive, that doesn't mean they are losers.
If the chick doesn't give you the time of day just because you didn't have a friggin' car to drive then she's totally not worth your time.

there is nothing wrong with you not having a car and riding the bus. if you are going out on a date there is nothing wrong with depending on the girl to drive considering you are the one who will be picking up the bill. if it makes you feel like you are car hopping just offer to put gas in the car .

Try finding a girlfriend who rides the bus too, then you have nothing to worry about. For long trips rent a car or borrow a friends & maybe even pay them to let you borrow it. At least if you find one now you will know she loves you for you & not your car.
