pool filter sand sprinkled around your house and yard Will kill fleas w/o chems. its such small Crystal it cuts to bells of soft under sided bugs, i sprinkled it in the carpet in the house w/some penny royal oil mixed in, let it sit for a bit, vacced it up, no more fleas!!
it even worked w/black ants!
needs to be reapplied outside after rain if ya gotta em that bad.
it a cheap green way to do it!

Try "dipping" your dog. You'd have to ask a vet about it, but i'm pretty sure that all you have to do is "dip" your dog in a bucket of water that's tinted with flea-killer. Like, i said, ask your vet for better details for getting rid of fleas, ticks, and lice from you dog. Poor doggie. :(

Also, you could buy him a flea collar or harness and have him/her wear it for a while. that might work too, it'd take longer than the dipping though. :\
