This adds up to at least 1400 calories......The gumbo has sausages in it/shrimp/flour/oil/bell peppers/onions/tomato paste and various seasonings...white rice is like 200calories a cup!

thats too little calories for a whole day -you will slow down your metabolism this way
you need more veggies and fruit (5-8 servings a day)
cereal - what kind? Kashi is the best whole grain one in regular food stores but you can find many more in health food stores
white rice has got to go!!! have brown or wild instead

Not too bad as long as there wasn't fat on the steak. Switch to reduced calorie or fat free ranch and skim milk. You definitely need more fruits and vegetables. Try putting fresh fruit in your cereal, or even in your salad, I cut up apples, plums, and grapes and put in a salad, even with ranch dressing.

This sounds delicious, I wouldn''t change a thing....as long as you did some physical activity to use up all that energy before it turns into fat. Try adding Egg Whites to your meal, or having only a meal of egg whites a few times a day.

If you're trying to lose weight, I'd swap the white rice for brown rice, and the coffee for green tea.
