8 months ago i was administerd 8 points and lost my license for 3 months in AZ, i paid my fines and and took all the classes required of me. 1 month ago i got a speeding ticket in Wyoming and it was a shock to me to find that there were 3 more points placed on my license. now i have 11 and the ADOT says that because i have 11 points and i have taken a traffic survivial school in the last 24 months i atomaticaly get my license suspended for 3 months. Can they do that? Is there a way to get a couple of point removed?

No, if you take a class to shave points off, they are normally shaved conditionally, which means if you get another ticket, any points credit you received from the class get restored, and the new points add to the restored total, BECAUSE YOU TOOK THE CLASS AND DIDN'T LEARN A DARN THING! YOU WASTED THEIR TIME AND YOURS! Time to grow up and learn to drive like a human being while you are still alive to do so!

The major problem in South Africa today is a total lack of enforcement, the government continues to come up with interesting ways to combat crime on paper and make it seem as though they are doing their work but just for interest sake, when last were ny of these laws actually enforced? When last for that matter were you personally or any other contributor pulled over by a traffic cop? I can't even recall the last time I was pulled over or ever having heard of anyone being fined for driving while chatting on a cellphone or for smoking in public places and these petty crimes occur on a daily basis. South Africans are so accustomed to the rule of law being ineffective under African governance that they generally shrug off any criminal behaviour on their part knowing that they will never be brought to book and follow the philosophy that if everyone else is doing it the why can't I. I doubt that this will be any different to all the other unenforced laws and if this new system is linked to the traffic departments ENATIS System, which is a complete BEE disaster, then it will be rendered even more ineffective and in reality useless. More opportunity for corrupt cops to earn a little extra on the side at best.

Where i live, i have repeatedly taken the driving course to get points taken off license..no one knows...you can take it more than once..it's no big deal...Good luck...In the future, when you get a ticket...do not just mail the ticket in...actually wait, show up for the court date, and sign up for driving school then..take care..

Most States that allow reduction of points by going to classes, also have a once a year limit. You are now classified as a habitual offender.
