Do civilian men look at women in military uniform the same way?

The reason you find it so disarming is the same reason women have always found it disarming. The combination of power and lethal force, of a hard, healthy body all kept in check under a well tailored uniform festooned with decorations displaying his accomplishments. Add in the formality of strict discipline and most women swoon. It is exciting like a wild animal on a tether. What would happen if all that power was suddenly released?
Finally, there is the heroic aspect of it. This is what draws a lot of women to military and firefighters. The sense that all that strength and power is there not to hurt you but to protect you. To lay down his life for you.
Sexy stuff. Always has been. Not quite the same for military women, though.

I couldn't agree with Jacob more. Worded perfectly, and erotically. A man in uniform is a wonderful thing, WOW!
Jacob you should look into adult writing in your free time.
A funny side note about the honor & pride soldiers really have.
I get turned on every time I even think about my soldier in uniform. One day I asked him "Ummm... DADDY will you wear your uniform in the bedroom?" He was not amused, he looked right at me and said, "No, this is a uniform, NOT a costume" He was serious and unfortunately that area will remain a fantasy to me. I realized then how important and the seriousness of his job is. I never made fun or asked again.

Not trying to be chauvinistic. I have no problems with women serving in the armed forces and having the same rights as men. I am yet to meet one that looks good in uniform. Big turnoff!!! Most of them look "butchy". Sorry. That is my two cents.

Well I served in the Armed Forces and I've never had a man say that I'm "butchy" so I take total offense at that comment.
Gee at 46 i'm still slim and in shape and pretty.
But men in uniform will always be the way they are because darn it they look so darned good in that uniform. I know, I married one. and he thot I looked darned good in mine.
So you aren't alone!

I don't know about other men,but my youngest son is in the Army (Ft. Campbell,KY),and he looks very strong and handsome in his uniform (and I'm not saying that because he's my son),I love him,and I am very proud of him.
