i was wondering what basic activities or lesson I can do on any shape, primarily circles though?

hands on with wee ones, touch oranges, balls, walk in circles play a circle game , use large motor skills . Don't just talk, they don't have the concepts down they need to experience it hands on is always good

go online and google preschool printables. They have all kinds of stuff you can print out... To focus on circles get a worksheet with circle stuff for kids to color. Then gather about 4 objects from your house 3 circle shapes and one that's something else... then ask them to pick which one doesn't belong and why. Play dough is fun, they can make their own circles.... Make cookies and use a circle cookie cutter.

your subject matter would be different kind of shape specifically circle.you have to start of motivating the pre schoolers by singing or making some visual aids or make stories regarding circle that must be related to your subject matter in order to the pre schooler can easily catch up the lesson.

fun activities like forming them into circle and have a material with a cicle shape and if the music stop ask them what shape is that be sure that there is another shape
