NOTHING.. Call your vet if she is still having problems.. She had a reaction today.. Why would you risk causing her more harm???

Do NOT give your dog Advil.. NO VET would tell you to just go ahead and give your dog Advil.. Oh brother...

Yeah, do what the vet told you to do. If the vet didn't tell you anything or you don't remember, call them back. There may be an emergency line to reach someone after hours.

Aspirin is aspirin, only difference is the dose. A baby aspirin is 1/4 the dose of a regular aspirin. Don't give her ANY medication without talking to her vet, you don't know what she's already had and you could cause a severe drug reaction. It's likely at least some of the meds the vet used will last for 24 hours. Aspirin especially can interact with many drugs used to treat allergic reactions and shock.

Do NOT give your dog human medication. Tylonel can kill dogs very quickly. Dogs react to human medication much differently than we do and it is not safe for them to have it. The vet would have given her something if she needed it since they knew she was running a fever. Call the vet in the morning if you still think she is running a fever; but remember- most vets don't consider it a fever unless it's over 102 degrees (dogs body temperatures are naturally higher than humans).
If you still are worried- call your local emergency vet and ask them what you should do. DO NOT give your dog anything without first consulting a vet.

Also, how old is your dog? Baby aspirin or any aspirin for that matter doesn't do well in young dogs or small dogs. Most vets who give aspirin to a dog give them 5mg per pound of dog (better to give as least as possible than too much). Also, watch your dog for any change in eating or behavior incase they are allergic to it.
This website has a chart to show how much to give with your dog's weight:

PLEASE do not give too much. Better safe than sorry.
However, if she had an allergic reaction to something today, I wouldn't risk giving her anything. Call the emergency vet and ask them.
Fevers in dogs are just like fevers in humans, they will go away. Also, take the dog's temperature before giving her baby aspirin because if she doesn't have a fever, she doesn't need it. Use a regular digital thermometer and if it's above 102-102.5 then she has a fever.

I've an Airedale Terrier, a German Shepherd/Chow combine, and an Australian Cattle canine/Border Collie combine. What kind of puppies do I wish I might have...Apart from Airedales, typically some form of Setter or Pointer, a significant Schnauzer, a Boxer, a Belgian Sheepdog, a Collie and an Irish, Lakeland, Scottish, Wheaten, Welsh, and Wire Fox Terriers the best thing my dog does is peel boiled eggs. The funniest thing he does is he sits in a wheelbarrow and lets you push him around all over.

Baby aspirin is OK,(enteric - coated aspirin is best, like Ecotrin) as long as the dog isn't taking any other medications. Also,if the vet gave her steroids for the reaction, don't give her aspirin, because the two drugs can interact and cause bleeding. The dosage is 5 mg. per pound, but if your vet sent her home,he/she must think she's OK.You could give her one dose, and try to get her to eat something with it.If she won't eat,I would just keep cool, damp cloths on her head, under her arms, and groin, and give her ice - cubes to lick and if her fever isn't down by morning, call the vet again.

What did the vet say? I wouldn't give the dog a thing without checking first. Sometimes they will already have treated the dog with a long acting med, and will usually tell you if further meds are needed. My thoughts are it's best to check with the vet first. That is my personal rule of thumb..NEVER dose a dog with anything the vet didn't approve first! Especially when you don't know how your chosen med would interact with anything the vet gave

Just do what the vet advised you to. Also, dogs have a higher natural temperature than humans, so she should be warmer than you. She might be lethargic from something the vet gave her or because she still doesn't feel good. If you are really worried she's relapsing, call you vet and ask what to do.

If those are the 2 choices, I'd say baby ASA, since you want to reduce the fever.
Remember to also give her lots of water to prevent dehydration and reduce/flush out fever too.
