Bhut jolokia, deemed the hottest pepper by the Guinness Book of World Records.
As a way of comparison: Classic Tabasco sauce ranges from 2,500 to 5,000 Scoville units. Your basic jalapeno pepper measures anywhere from 2,500 to 8,000. The previous record holder, the Red Savina habanero, was tested at up to 580,000 Scovilles.
The bhut jolokia crushed those contenders, testing at 1,001,304 Scoville units.

Well I have eaten Habaneros on donw and they are all good!!!...I'm just at spicy kind of girl!!! My kids are even use to me cooking real hot and spicy foods....they love it!! So yes I would go with Habaneros....Also try something I once saw on the Food Network Channel a pepper that looked like the Habaneros, but they called it some kind of Jamacian Flower "Scotch Bonnet" I believe is the name (the link below gives quiet a varity) which was suppose to be The Hottest!!!Pepper in the world!!. Another sauce I enjoy using is "Matuk's Hot Sauce"...Now that is pure FIRE!!!!! it even has the seeds in it...very very HOT!! but Good!! Well hope you find what your looking for!! Be Blessed!!!

Uh you have to try habenero peppers themselves, not a sauce, they are really crazy hot man.....and I eat hot stuff and cook with them a lot....and still they are hot. They choke you when you cut them. But you have to use the seeds and all....I think there are hotter peppers but I can't remember the name of them.

I can't imagine what it would be like to eat a pepper as hot as the Joloki and still be able to taste the food. I've heard that it causes a rush and the endorphins kick in (what other choice does the body have when faced with burning from the inside out????) but I can't imagine it would be enjoyable.

the spiciest pepper is bhut jolokia or ghost chilli. habanero is the next. but if you really want it that spicy then chop up the habaneros instead of the sauce. also try ordering vindoloo at your indian curry house or restaurant.

You should really try the pepper itself, seeds and all. If you are tasting a sauce most likely it's seeds are taken out and it's "watered" down.
