Our Lord god created us to Worship and revere him, we are not robots in his hand but have a free will to choose right and wrong it is that free will that enables us to Love God deeper ........saying that if we look at Him as our Father and Creator why would he not be pained at our mistakes made and decisions gone wrong Yes our pains;s are his too but our decisions to do the right thing through that pain brings us closer to Him

Is the Lord's pain our pain? Is the Holy Spirit's grief our Grief? Is the Father's Longing our Longing?
Being One with the Lord is not light matter. In the same way the Lord is touched by the feelings of our infirmity and tempted in all points like we were, yet without sinning... we too should have a heart for the Lord and be sensitive to what He feels and desires within us.
We truly need to have our perspective raised. TO not be so subjective and selfish and only wanting the Lord to " understand " our hardships and pain, but to see that in this universe God has waited and longed for something from eternity past that transends even our earthly pains and concerns.
He wants a counterpart and Bride and someone to love and Be HIS. The Bible begins with a marriage union between Adam and Eve. She was built out of Adam's side and called Woman.. Bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh.
In Like manner Christ Jesus... on the cross His side was pierced and out from it flowed water and blood. Blood to redeem us and water to impart His very life and nature to us so that we can Match Him in every way to be His Eve.
In the Book of Revelation we see the Marriage of the Lamb. When all is said and done Anil.. when all is dealt with on this earth.. from the Great Tribulation..to the fall of Babylon to the casting of Satan into the Pit forever.. we see the Bride of Christ Emerging. THis is God's heart and His Good pleasure from Eternity past. Christ and The Church..the Bridegroom and His bride.... Forever.
May we see more clearly.. love Him more dearly.. follow Him more nearly day by day..

Of course, our pain is Lord's pain and He doesn't want anyone to be in pain. But as we commit many wrongs in our materialistic way of life, pains are bound to come. This is the law of nature or God as you may call it. If we want to get rid of it, we will have to be very cautious in every step of our life so that our actions don't cause a pain to any creatures on earth directly or indirectly. This is possible only when we lead our life guided by a true master or guru, who is fulfiller the best.

Not exactly, We have the pain of being away from the Lords presence. Gods pain is like that of a parent that sees their children doing things they shouldn't.

I'd like to think the Lord feels our pain. Because He's our father. But in all reality, i don't know. I mean, the pain He suffered for us was so much more than we could ever imagine, so I wonder if our pain is even anything for him, or if it just rolls off his skin.

Lord is much above pain and comfort. We experience pain in our physical forms and the pain is something that we inflict upon our own selves through our mis deeds.

when you cause pain to the body, the soul suffers .the soul eiong god , you hurt and torment god .This is what Kriahna says about fasting by some people .
this is why killing is a sin in Hinduism.. If you kill the body of a person , the soul is driven out of the body.you ar dislodging 'God from the body. what ever pain is inflicted on th ebody is a pain caused to the soul , that is God.

It is stated in the Bible that God spoke "I knew you when you were in your mother's womb" and God counts the tears of women so it stands to reason that as Jesus suffered and died for his believers and the nonbelievers on the cross, he took our pain with him to the Heavenly Father and yes, our Father which art in Heaven... Yes, turn your sorrows over to the Lord and he will erase your tears and light your way.

Absolutely! In fact, pain my be a blessing in disguise. God may very well be sharing something of eternal importance with you. A part of Himself you will in eternity be very grateful to have shared in, maybe even a crown comes with it. Stay faithful God is always in control even when it doesn't seem like it. Remember it's not just about this life, it's eternity God is most concerned about. We will never again have an opportunity to share things like pain with God again once in heaven.

I do not wish to be philosophical and say yes. Rather I say only the wearer knows where the shoe pinches. Nobody can take ur place. God is above all these things. He has his own administrative norms and stays away from all this. He does not take and credit or discredit for what he does. He pins it on human beings only this is his Maya.
