I bought a Accurian APD-3955 and I wanted to play my ps2 on it.
The portable dvd player only has a av out jack, is there a converter or something. Anything to change that av out to an av in. I dont care if I have to open the portable dvd player.

It is not impossible, but very hard.

In effect, you want to receive an analog a/v video signal, digitize it, and send it to your portable display. This requires a couple of ICs, a mini PCB, power, etc. Don't forget that audio is a competely different pipeline as well..

Better to find a portable player with already an a/v input.

The first answer is correct; I thought I'd translate it into a more digestible form.

>Is there an AV-Out to AV-In converter?

No. It is fundamentally impossible.

>I bought a Accurian APD-3955 and I wanted to play my ps2 on it.

If you had a degree in Electrical Engineering and a bunch of time on your hands, you could probably open it up and design a converter board that would let you add an A/V input jack.

IC - Integrated Circuit - little black thing like a little computer chip
PCB- Printed Circuit Board - flat thing that ICs are soldered on to
