i do NOT want to be a nurse or a doctor ect. i dont like any sugery or anything in the medical or dentist industry. i would love to work with children. btw im only like 14 so i dont have to really worry but i want to start thinking about summer jobs in the next couple years and what i want to be as im older. thanks for reading!!!

i would like to make a decent amount of income. also, im thinking about becoming a child schycologist [or however you spell that] but idk. anyone know how many years of collage that would take and what mayjor i should mayjor in? thanks again!

There are a range of professions.

Teaching, including elementary and early childhood.

You can work in child care.

You can also work in child psychology. This can actually be fairly unpleasant as you may be dealing with abused and troubled children.

There is a lot of work in the US with gifted children and helping parents deal with children, so the psychology/sociology angle might not be all doom and gloom.

You could be a teacher's aid. Daycare (although I wouldn't recommend it, but that's just me). Intern at something like Child Protective Services (CPS) or some other government entity that works with kids (this is often a tough job as you would be dealing with some bad situations). Lifeguard. Swimming instructor or an instructor for some sport.
