For myself it became the only one. Not because I was afraid of dying but I became aware that the life I was living was not worth living, all of my dreams and hopes taught to me of course by others lost in the material plane I watched wide eyed as that inner knower showed me there value. I have known loss and loneliness, but I have glimpsed the beauty in all things. I could not turn away from this path because I can not go back now, it is to late. ~ : )

The journey on the Spiritual Path begins very easily. The Universe listens to every word, thought and emotion we have. The Universe can grant our wishes and help us in everyday life. So, to begin on the Spiritual Path, all you have to say, straight from the heart, is 'I'm ready!'. The Universe will then start about showing you signs (coincidences some people call them) to indicate to you that the Universe heard you and is answering the call.
The signs will be very subtle, yet obvious, if you are attentive. Number sequences are a very common way that the Universe communicates with us as in today's society we are always surrounded by some device that displays numbers. Otherwise, the Universe will show you signs that you would understand, in effect it will communicate with you in a language that you understand. You will see, hear, smell or feel certain things when you ask a question in your mind or even out loud. Look out for these signs as this will be the Universe giving you your answer.
Be open-minded and attentive and look out for patterns of certain things that are emerging in your life. These will be the Universe's attempts to find a dialogue with which you can communicate with it. Once you have recognised the patterns and the way the Universe is communicating with you then the action begins! The Universe will now start to unfold a whole new world to you, all you have to do is sit back, relax, keep an open mind and watch for the signs. It really takes no effort at all. But you must have a clear mind and a clear heart, otherwise you may either misinterpret the signs or block the messages coming to you through emotional or mental imbalance. Be as clear a channel as possible. Of course, this is not always possible. We are only human after all!
Now a warning. The Spiritual Path is not a game or a fad and is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Once you have declared that you wish to travel the Spiritual Path the Universe will guide your life through experiences, both good and bad, and you will experience a vast range of emotions before you're through, these may well include some of your worst fears. But don't be scared or put off. The Universe is trying to help you to sever emotional and mental attachments to this realm of existence thereby releasing and liberating you.
The Spiritual Path is a journey for you and you alone. No one else has influence over it or should be taken as an intermediary to the Universe (for example, cults and self-proclaimed ministers). The Universe will teach you everything you need to know as it is the very highest teacher and the very highest authority on everything. Once you establish your relationship with the Universe the journey has already begun. Just remain open and watch for the signs. That's it! It really is just that simple!
Safe journey...

If you are running around not knowing what the Spiritual path is then YES it is difficult. But If you have seen that focal point and the strategic place of spirituality then you will not get lost easily.
This strategic, focal point is man's spirit. God is Spirit.. Man has a spirit within him.
If we WALK according to the Spirit then we will be those following God wherever He leads.
Its not that there will not be a price to be paid dear Anil. Anything that is precious in this world undergoes some sort of inward pressure inorder to make its constitution substantial and weighty.
In like manner, we too will undergo some sort of dealing from the Lord. All that we are and what we have inherited in Adam has to be worked on by the Indwelling Spirit. Like all the residue that is taken out of heated gold during the refining process. All of the Self, the Flesh, the Natural man.. The Old man.. the old Creation, has to be removed from us through the refining fire of the Spirit of God. This is done through all kinds of hard environments. But the Good thing is that we TAKE GRACE as our means and supply to go THROUGH this process.
Its nothing of " self effort" which results in self righteousness and vain glory. This is genuine and takes time.
So we take each day one at a time. Each step with the Lord.
One person said in a song that " I"d rather walk in the dark with God than Go alone in the Light.. I'd rather walk by faith in Him than Go alone by sight"
So very deep:)

Not for a true seeker. I promise you Anil, the flood gates of knowledge shall be opened just for you if you truly take to the spiritual path honestly. But the spiritual path is very difficult for non-believers, sophists and hypocrites. Make your choice, first change yourself, make yourself competent enough to walk on the path of spirituality before you embark upon your blissful journey.

It is our destiny.
We fill up with all the passions of life, material goods, lust after this and that...gain much of it, and what? We still feel this giant, gaping hole!
So, what to do? Like tired children, we turn into the arms of the spiritual. The questions begin, Why? Why me? Why everything!
After the endless question, there is rest and if one is totally honest...a big I don't know nothin'! =D
I'll admit, though, after a long time on the spiritual path, I have gotten a lot of great answers, "tools", if you will. Mine is an easier life,a quieter mind...more peace.
Some might be "eaten up" more by life and find it adding to their stress. For me, it was like great gulps of cold water after a dry spell!
I think that there is a magnate, of sorts, stronger in some than others. We are literally pulled to find out...what is this life, why is this life, etc.

When you start doing something, Anything and if you are not convinced that you want to do it, then it will be difficult and this hardness will overcome you. But if you are 100 percent sure you want to do something, e.g. following the spiritual path, then the path is easier to walk and even if it gets rough youll be able to overcome this hardness because you are sure of what you want.

Yes it is. That's why there's reincarnation. It's our opportunity to come back here and learn what we need to know in order to advance our souls. I don't remember which apostle said this, but paraphrased, he said that no matter how hard he tried to do right, he ended up doing wrong at times. Paraphrased again, Christ said that doing good to someone who does good to us is easy. However, as His followers we are to do good even to those who do bad to us. No this is not an easy thing. To turn the other cheek, to love everyone without conditions, to trust God even with our most precious of concerns, and there is more. Living spiritually is no easy task.
Peace

yes, of course the spiritual path is a very difficult one like anything else in our lives. its also full of test, some to test our faith other to test the strength on our believes and our free will. i think that how difficult it is depends on how we live our life's.

Well, there are so many different roads to follow and sometimes when I look too hard, I don't know which one to take. Then I remember to close my eyes and listen carefully to that voice inside that tells me where I need to go next, and suddenly I am on the right path again.
