Then I've lived my life the best way possible anyway. If it wasn't true, it still gave me more meaning and inner completeness than any other way of life could have.

First of all, it won't be proven to be not true. However, if for some reason it wasn't, then it would be most logical to follow the Jewish faith. No other religion has developed a moral code like Judaism and Christianity. All other religions have based their 'moral' ethics on Judaic-Christian teachings. Most other faiths have based their beliefs on something in nature creating the world, whereas Judaism & Christianity have God creating man, and providing a way for man to be restored to God. All other religions are work based. They are totally unsound, because there is absolutely no way you could ever know that you had worked enough to 'make it to heaven' or 'become one with the universe' or be good enough to be 'reincarnated' into some higher life form. But in Christianity, we CAN know that we have salvation, and where we will spend eternity. If Christianity was not true, the entire world would eventually be plunged into Darwinistic anarchy of survival of the fittest, and Hitler's nightmare would become a reality for the entire planet. Life would not be worth living, and you might as well kill yourself then.

Too each person their own Christianity has brought me a balanced, peaceful, understanding, life filled with hope, love, and a future worth living a simple life for there are too many people that if it were not for the solid rock of Christianity to shore up their lives these times we live in would not be nearly as nice.

You went from "if" to "when" pretty fast. Without Christianity, we would simply have to find another set of morals -- or none. We'd be back to philosophy alone as our guide.
But then again, no Christianity means no promise of reward either, and all we will be left with to guide our actions, is government.

To answer John: according to your belief correct if i am wrong, I probably am, if world ended today approximately 1/3 of the population would be burning in river of molten lava according to Jesus, (your other god/son of god, whom can"t seem to make up his mind about wheat her his god or son, in any case you obviously would not deny Jesus existed, both have common message but two, I reaped 2 gods) bit cruel don't you think.
High price to pay for freedom of thought. And if that is Christianity's reality for me, I would deny god, try to fight some thing like that for eternity.

If I believe in the bible & live according to the bible at the end of my life I find out it's not true at least I live a good life. If you don't believe & at the you find it's true you would have lost every thing for ever.

I'm like my friend in Christ above me, I would rather believe and it not be true than to not believe and it is.
That is really what faith in GOD and JESUS is all about belief in the unknown, and knowing in your heart that GOD is there not only guiding you but lifting you up through all the rough times, while blessing you during the good times.
So good luck but i think you are in for a rude awaking on judgment day.
GOD is love and JESUS saves...

The True Christian Faith is based on God...Nothing else... The Faith may not be imposed upon any one by any means... The "moral code" of The Faith is binding only upon those of The Faith.
The True Christian Faith will never be "proven not true"... but the majority will always reject it..... their loss.

If Christianity proves not too be true then I have lost nothing. I have a great life. I have good friends I would not have except for my church. Being a Christian has been the best part of my life. If it turned out to be false I still have lost nothing.
