i need glasses, well i know i need glasses but im not sure how to tell my mom, i just need glasses to read things on the white board.
my mom also joked around that old people wear glasses so im not sure how to tell her.
do you have any ideas?

Just tell her. she is just teasing you. it is better for you to get them now cause if you don't you wills stain your vision and end up getting lots of head aches. i know from experience

Just tell her. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Lots and lots of young people and kids need glasses these days. I see 'em all the time.
I used to wear glasses from the time I was 15 until I was twenty-five. Then I switched to contacts.

Your mom is incorrect. I know of some three-year-olds who wear glasses. They are not limited to old people. Most of my friends in high school wore glasses. Age is not a factor. Go and have your eyes checked. Vision is a precious thing, and you have to take care of your eyes.

don't be afraid, just tell your family you need glasses, i have worn glasses from age 3 ! I'm 49 now JUST DO IT

OMG! i had the same problem, i still dont have glasses but i finally told my dad after he got glasses that i needed them. my brother still thinks im lyeing but whatever.. anyways, just tell her about your day and say that you couldnt see the board in any of your classes. hope i helped, and it worked for me!!!

Just tell her you are having problems seeing. Does she wear glasses or your dad cuz it can be hereditary you know.

You should be having a yearly eye exam so if you haven't had yours yet this year just flat out ask your mom to get it scheduled ASAP and tell her straight out you are having trouble seeing.

Tell her you need your eyes checked. Make sure she is there with you when you get them checked. She will get the message.
