It would depend on how many clips you went through.
Seriously, just a few shots fired indoors isn't going to cause permanent damage. I don't believe that adrenaline would be much protection, either.

First off, the link I provided below has more information than you or anyone else (myself included) probably needs about noise induced hearing loss.
Second, while we know that long term exposure to loud noises tends to cause hearing loss... like cancer or any other health issue, there is chance involved. In other words, you could have issues the very first time you do it, or you may never have issues. What you will do though, is increase your probability of issues.
I've shot many a rifle and pistol outdoors without hearing protection and I have some hearing loss in my left ear. In my case, it was evident the very first time I shot outdoors.

finally, it is going to reason some listening to loss even even with the shown fact which you will no longer observe the shotgun blast while you're capturing in a self-protection subject. listening to loss is an accumulative consequence of damages to the auditory nerves on your listening to canal. Any loud noise from music blasting on audio device or headsets to gun photos reason small quantities of everlasting harm which all provides up over the years. .

Just a few rounds even a few magazines would not cause permanent damage. i have been in high stress shooting and do not even remember hearing any shots from my weapon (glock 23 .40) however everyone reacts differently. if you go to the range, wear ear and eye protection. if its self defense situation, forget about it. even if it does do damage its better than dying with one earplug in you ear

You should find a new place to live if you have to shoot inside your house a lot.

Not unless you are holding it against your ear. Adreneline doesn't do anything for it either.
