I was having real bad leg cramps and night and my physician prescribed a medication for it. It worked great. If I feel the night cramps coming on I take the medication for a couple of day and then I sleep OK again.

There's many things it could be. You'd most likely have to go to a doctor to narrow down the causes and get medical help for it. You could have restless leg syndrom (RLS). But, to get treatment you NEED to go to a doctor!

DEAR LISA, YOU MAY HAVE RESTLESS LEGS SYNDROME. I HAD IT ONCE , I COULD'NT SLEEP, I WOULD WALK THE HOUSE OVER AT NIGHT. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I WAS EMBARASSED TO GO TO THE DOCTOR. FINALLY WHEN I DID FROM LACK OF SLEEP, THEY TOLD ME THIS IS COMMON , AND GAVE ME A SCRIPT THAT RELIEVED THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY. I WOULD HOPE IT IS RLS OVER ARTHRITIS, GOOD LUCK!!!

Could be a number of things.Arthritis,restless leg syndrome,
tarsal tunnel is a possibility since you says it runs into your feet.You should see a doctor if this persists.

It could be circulation problem or a pinched nerve. Doesn't sound like it is arthritis. Doctor can test for both circulation and pinched nerve.

You are probably lacking magnesium in your diet which can cause cramps.
Drink plenty of fresh water can also help.
I would check it out with a health practitioner if you are concerned.
