I see where He loves the Isrealites, but not where it says He loves you and me.

Very good, He loves His own. The "world" of John 3:16 gets a lot smaller a couple of verses down. If He loved the Israelites, and did not love anyone else, then "chosen" makes a lot of sense, and predestination can be taken at face value.

And firstborn sons died, and the flood killed many, many people. And God killed his own people when they disobeyed, and His law demanded death for certain crimes we wouldn't think twice about today. Lots of love for His own who obeyed the law, and lots of love for those who have Christ in their hearts today. But there is a difference between you and the atheist, between you and the ones who have no fear of God and shake their fists at Him. You have life and freedom, they have spiritual and physical death. You're not wrong in your observations. God loves His own.

I know that everyone has been saying John 3:16. Not only does God love you and the world but:

1 John 4:8 Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love."

John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

God's love is so crazy and out of this world for you!!! He loves you beyond all of your imaginations and thoughts of what love is.

Just remember that Christians believe that we are not under the law, rather we are justified by faith. God loved you enough to make you an Heir to Him through his son Jesus Christ. The veil was torn and we are now High Priests. God Bless you in your search for God's Love.

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 1:16
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile

Gentile being everyone not a Jew

Romans 10:12
For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him

1 John 4:9-10
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

And Finally...

1 John 4:8
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Love is who He is....:)

John 3:

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
