Here's a little background: A woman in her 50s who is losing her apartment, her husband was deported, and has two teenagers, who just get into trouble, wants to know the birthdays of her family (mom, dad, brother, and sisters, who are all over 40). What kind of paperwork can she possibly fill out with their information? (Not happening to me, but to a close friend.)

My friend also says that she and mom are not close to her aunt, and I guess her other aunt's don't really talk to her either. The reason her husband was deported was because he would bring people illegally to the U.S. Which I do think is very wrong, and am glad he was arrested.

This doesn't sound logical.
If she is filing for assistance, they generally don't ask for this type of stuff.
Sounds like she just needs to get to work and leave the kids to their own thuggy resources.

Sounds really fishy. No kind of assistance would ask for this info. Sounds like she is wanting to run some sort of scam. Stay away from this "close friend" and don't let her know your birthday.
