The world, will end eventually but it won't be for AT LEAST a couple hundred years to a few millenia. There are so many ways to destroy the Earth though. I will also state that the Earth is pretty resilient and has already survived through many things so I KNOW that you will be fine for your lifetime, but if you are thinking about the long-longterm future then yes, it may be ending for humans, but also it is no, the Earth won't end now and its stable for a while

Probably not in the near future.

Kids having sex early will not destroy the world, tho it may damage their abilities to have lasting relationships, and can cause some severe emotional traumas that last a lifetime. For that individual. The world goes on.

Killings will not end the world. It is true that the rate of violence including killings seems to be going up, and there are even religious groups who make a specialty of killings of those not in their group.

Part of it too is the loss of a strong moral foundation brought on by the current philosophies against "old fashioned" religion and morality and ethics, and for "secular humanism" where such things are not really "bad" depending on the context.

Drugs are a often a destructive fad, a substitute religious experience at times, and they destroy many lives, and lead to much crime against others. But, they will not destroy the world, just a significant number of people who might have done better with their lives. I think anything that diminishes a person's mental capacity is not good for our world, but again, that will not destroy the earth.

And we are more likely to destroy Civilization by listening to the rabble-rousers and fear-mongers now who want us to make massive changes, which if you check usually give the rousers and mongers much money and lots of control over people's lives, to do with as they wish. And they will do it to you if they can!!

Following the rousers and mongers, and letting them control you will hurt your life, and may tumble Civilization, and place the concentration of wealth and power into a very few hands, which is not good. Read Orwell's "1984" for the type of world that makes.

But note that the world is not destroyed, just only a few are really well off, and the rest end up robotized. The world goes on.

Even an all out nuclear war would not destroy the world, tho it might wipe out all life on it! But if man has spent the time and money to move colonies of humans out into space, even such a war on the earth would not end humanity, tho shake it up a lot. Read Ben Bova's "The High Road" for information on what could be done if we chose, to improve life on earth and protect humanity from really major catastrophes. If we wish to.

The things that might well end the world would be the impact of a really major asteroid that would have enough energy to split the earth and tear it apart into many smaller bodies. Or one of the other catastrophes that are listed somewhere I have seen in the science section...like a heavy black hole entering the core and consuming the earth, or a few somewhat similar and fairly unlikely things.

Science also predicts the Earth will end after the sun runs low on hydrogen fuel and expands or explodes, consuming the Earth in the process. Postulated to be several billions of years from now.

Global Warming let go too far, if in fact it would go that far, which is unknown, might possibly destroy life on the earth, partially or fully, but the earth would go on. And with the various bacterium that like it boiling hot, in the sea and in hot springs on land, it is very unlikely Global Warming would proceed that far.

AND, we KNOW how to control Global Warming. Nature shows us how every so often, as in the 1890s (look up the year without a summer!) and we experimented with it, unknowingly, back in the 1950-70 era, when the hue and cry was "Falling into the Ice Age". You see how wrong those fear-mongers were!!

Then the record shows the environmentalists got busy and brought back Global Warming with a vengeance!! But, we have shown how we can control it, and even defeat it.

It seems that those who predict the end of the world are present in every generation, and so far, while things have sometimes gotten socially very bad, as in the Dark Ages when science and government and a form of religion cooperated for power and money, the world has not ended, and there was an enlightenment, and things got back on track to a better life.

We just have to make sure science and/or religion is not linked to government so there are no checks and balances to keep people free and thinking. Also requires lots of good, unbiased education. Please note carefully; I do NOT say that those in government should not know and use science or have their own religions and ethics. Or that government should exclude science and religious and ethical principles in it.

History tells us a lot, like that in the past Global Warming was generally good for the world and civilization, not bad as many would tell you now. And creativity flourished, and was not suppressed by an ideology of those few who want to make great amounts of money and control the rest of the people.

Even the penguins and polar bears survived, perhaps because nobody back then was watching their every move to broadcast fear they were going to be extinct!!

If you follow Christian "End Times" and compare carefully with science as we know it now, there are a lot of potentials that it is a good lay description of biological warfare followed by a big Nova in the sun. But while the warfare may be man-made, we do not have the capabilities to cause the sun to Nova, far as I know.

So, my recommendation is to stop worrying, stay
in school, keep from hurting your mind with recreational drugs, including alcohol, learn history, propaganda tactics, science, and psychology. And anything else that pleases you. Become a knowledgeable and well rounded individual in full command of your mind, and work for good in the earth which will be with us, I think, for a long long time.

It's always been like this (not as bad as today) but the media always shoves the bad news down your throat with the intention of scaring the hell outta you. Like take for example Iraq. Iraq seems like a place where there are hundreds of killings and it is, but there are also good people and things happening there everyday that the media rarely touches upon.

Dont worry too much about it, the world can end anythime, for example it could have ended a few years back when a huge comet thing almost hit it, but fortunatly it missed. So just live life to its fullest and stop worrying too much..

Not til Jesus comes for his bride...the church...the believers....his disciples.. This is what is referred to as "The Rapture".

Then and only then will he cause judgement on the earth for the sin of the "world." 7 years of tribulation will occur. A terrible time in history to live.

in the bible is states that in the Early 2000s now) Jesus will come back, but before that time the world will be horrible and bad things will happen, and we are getting closer and closer to that time. the world isn't ending, it's just getting ready for Jesus to come.

First people will resist it, then they will believe, then they will imagine the future, then they will despair, then they will make it happen. Change is a conscious choice, make it.

i think no... but the end is really near... well its our own faults too... we are abusing everything that the world is giving to us.. if we will not commit any preventive actions to heal our world we are really on our way to destruction...
